i saw wheatus live at a music festival once. they played on the b stage in the parking lot and someone threw a pencil or something at them and it got stuck in the guy's guitar and they got booed off the stage. i think this was either 1999 or 2000?

To understand why some of these bands were so popular, you have to understand how poo poo music was back in the early to mid 90s. Pearl Jam, Sound Garden and a lot of those bands were pretty good. I know, I lived there. Also worth remembering that we did not have the internet so your only exposure was the poo poo we heard on the radio or saw in the CD shops. We didn't have access to your poo poo music.

Pearl Jam is a euphemism for jizm. I think they just used to tell the grandma story to throw journalists of the scent but in reality they are a group of men who just love cum.  Soundgarden are hit and miss, Alice in Chains were great and the only bad thing about Nirvana is it gave us the Foo Fighters. Dave Abbruzzese getting the boot was the downfall of Pearl Jam. Jack Irons and Matt Cameron are both too straight and boring to add any life to Stone Gossard's souless guitar parts.
