I remember how everyone in the office was so shaken up and useless that they closed up and sent us home early. Fifteen years later and I'm still choked up about losing those three hours pay.

Our teacher didn't tell us what was happening. And then one by one kids kept getting called to go home early. Then my name got called and my mom would only give me a vague "something bad happened in New York City". I turned on the TV at and the first thing I saw was some dude jumping out of the tower. It was really sad.
