The true tragedy of 9/11/01 is that it was the release date of Nickelback's album "Silver Side Up," which spawned the hit single "How You Remind Me" and launched the career of the Canadian band. According to Wikipedia, the album has gone platinum 8 times! Teach your children. This must never be repeated!

I thought the girl in the music video was hot for a few seconds, then I felt like she was just going to eat my soul plus she had a crazy noticeable gap in her front teeth

I actually bought a copy of this album when it came out. Still have it somewhere, I'm pretty sure. And y'know, that first song isn't that bad, especially considered the steady torrent of steaming poo poo Nickelback has been unleashing since this came out. Oh, and the Spider-Man song was actually pretty alright too, as songs from superhero movies go. Though that's not setting the bar very high.

Nickleback has long been associated with Elves, since they started their career opening for other more successful bands at the Seelie Court

I was told a good friend the same thing and he more or less backhanded me. While he was driving. That's a testament to how lovely Chad Kroger is; even when he makes something decent it still inspires physical retaliation by association.

I don't get how people hate Nickelback so much. They're so bland and generic. It's like if people really hated vanilla, or the color taupe or something. Like, what's there to hate, or love, or have any strong feelings about one way or another?
