Some of Clone Wars was broadcasted out of chronological order, but you can watch either in broadcast or chronological and still have a good time. Also don't skip episodes. Watch the whole show, it's all pretty good.

Yeah, Kanan and Hera are totally a low-key couple.

So every single story ever told should be completely standalone?

Ditto. I'm usually a Rebel fighter fan...but I've always loved the Defender. Even bought the Lego set.

Are video games cannon, because the defender has already popped up in Battlefront.

Official guidelines are that video games are screened for "authenticity" (so they should look and feel like Star Wars), but are not canonical.

Part of the Death Star DLC pack. It's the special fighter you can call in

Edit: call in as an AI buddy. They aren't player-controllable.

does the ghost fly around/dog fight or is it just basically seen once like in that trailer spot??

You don't see the Ghost do much in the way of active combat, but I spotted it at least three times throughout the battle. They commit to it being present for the duration, at least

That's to do with seeing Obi-Wan, not for seeing Luke.

Yeah, but given that Obi-Wan is ostensibly keeping watch over Luke, he could potentially cameo. I think one of the previous Legends depictions of Obi-Wan and Maul meeting had Owen and Luke briefly appear.

The SW Battlefield II trailer also came out, and while they're not considered cannon, it shows the surviving Star Destroyer fleet leaving the Death Star debris field and jumping to hyperspace - which eventually leads to Jakku, the story of which is in novels I think, or comics.

The story of Battlefront II is going to be canonical, actually.

Good ol' fragile toxic masculinity. Couldn't handle the fact that they only had 30ish years with 90% of major Star Wars characters (and game protagonists) being men.

Filoni said at the same presentation that announced that Season 4 of Rebels would be the final one that "this is not the end of animation at LucasFilm".

So there's something else in the works...but no details yet.
