I think it's a setup with two truck lights that suddenly light up and revving engine noise and semi-truck air horn that blares. I saw a really advanced version of this years ago where all through the house, you'd occasionally hear the truck as if it was off in the distance, then the next time it would get closer. Eventually the big scare at the end had an actual decent mockup of a truck cab that rolled forward at you at the same time the lights and horn blared.
