Eupho S2 is a given. I've never really heard of Drifters but I like the concept, same with Izetta. FLIP FLAPPERS looks fun. Watashi ga Motete Dousunda looks dumb as hell so it's on the list too.

I forgot Keijo was this season. I might pick it up.

e: I should be careful about what I pick up because I STILL have a backlog of cool stuff from spring and earlier to start watching.

Must Watch:
Eupho S2
Drifters
FLIP FLAPPERS

Interested in:
Izetta
Watashi ga Motete Dousunda
Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku

Kinda interested in:
ClassicaLoid
Girlish Number
Keijo
Idol Memories

And I'll keep an ear to the ground in case anything ends up being a surprise hit. It's a lot, even if I figure I'll drop a handful of them for increasingly arbitrary reasons. Plus I have a backlog that needs whittling down.

The original title was All You Need Is Kill, they decided that wouldn't work so they changed it to Edge of Tomorrow, but then since it didn't do mega hot when it came time for home release they re-titled it with the original poster tagline, which I don'tr remember ever happening before in film.

so the official listing on imdb and tomatoes is Live.Die.Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow

Starring Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and breakout talent Edgeoftomorrow.

First episode impressions: Izetta was very good, and it'll be interesting to see how Magical Girl Raising Project gets from cute and fluffy magical girl show to...whatever the hell that first scene was.

I synced up my list on MAL with senpai.moe and now I have a crystal clear idea of what I'm watching this season and where I'm watching it.

My animes are better organized than my budget. :geno:

First ep of soushin shojo matoi was pretty fun. I wonder how well they're going to balance "mysterious organization" drama with goofy magical girl antics though.

The Colonel posted:

i didn't care about the dark supernatural organization stuff in soushin shojo matoi but i really liked all of the stuff with matoi and her friends cause it was really colorful and fun and had cool character animation

the two gags at the end were, uh, weird, though

Yeah, those bits were...weird.

Watashi ga Motete Dousunda is on CR, according to senpai, but I'm not seeing it. It's supposed to premiere on there in 36 hours, so maybe it'll show up once we get closer to the start time.

Keijo is really fuckin' dumb, but I didn't go into it expecting anything but(t) and enjoyed it. I'll give it three episodes.

Flip Flappers and Yuri on Ice are real good, y'all.

Drifters was pretty good. The action sequence in the beginning was probably the best part of the episode, but there's enough mystery in the rest of it that I want to stick around and see how it all pans out.

Gakuen Handsome is amazing. And it's as handsome as advertised!

I thought I was watching a lot over the summer, but the ten or so shows (that eventually got whittled down to six or seven) I picked up during summer pales in comparison to how many I'm following in the fall. I've picked up a dozen or so shows, and they're all really good. We're only a week in but I can't see myself dropping anything that I'm watching. Comparatively, a week into summer and I was already predicting what I'd drop. Fall's turning out to be a great time for anime!

Girlish Number was pretty cool. It's interesting how everyone on the show, including the protagonist (probably less so her brother) is a shitheel. Chitose is the protag only by virture of her being kind of sympathetic. Good show.

She's also a two faced jerk though? She's lazy and selfish but turns on a bright smile around people she thinks she should impress. That's, like, her main character trait. The impression I got was just that she's not as good at switching on and off, compared to the veterans.

I dunno, she's still a jerk but to me it seemed like she was less of a jerk than the other VAs.

I feel like this has been a pretty strong season. The only show I've dropped (Shoujo Matoi) I dropped not because it was bad but because it just wasn't good enough. The only big disappointment of the season, imo, has been Izetta.
