Man was easy mode as pathetic as this games Skirmish in SMT4? I just beat Medusa and I've been like 4-5 levels over everything pretty consistently without really grinding. I wondered how easy skirmish was if this was such a non-issue and the boss was only hitting me for like 20 damage per turn at best.

This game seems to be kicking my rear end in general though, it's good that there's basically no downside to game overs because I don't think I beat a boss on the first try. Also been dumping my points in a really stupid way, basically leveling STR +3 and Dex +2 most levels and sometimes remembering to do agility and luck. I'm doing what the OP says not to and playing this back to back with IV, but only picking up where I left off because I got so lost. I just went to Club Florida and met the people there for the first time, and stopped there last night. How much longer am I looking at for the rest of the game? I am looking forward to starting this one, but I also ordered Strange Journey for a replay of that in the near future.

Man, there's a TON of demons in this game. I was gonna try to complete the compendium by recruiting everyone as I go but there's just too many, I've been playing for like 15 hours and I'm only at the bottom of the well. It also sucks that the number of skills you and your demons have are locked by apps because I've been fusing like crazy just to make free space and I can't really take advantage of all the skills I've gotten. They really pass out decent skills like candy at the earlygame this time around

Instead of using your negotiation skills to get out of a rough fight, here's a free escape button. Also you only take half damage so rough fights don't exist anyway

Has gods and demons inability to actually kill each other been mentioned anywhere in the series before. Cause as soon as they said that every game started making a while lot more sense. Also does anybody have a summary of what happened in the story dlc for IV I bought it all but I'm not really feeling like going back and playing it all.
