OOC Thread
Influence Sheet

Hopefully you don’t suffer too much from vertigo because your base is in the Cloud Quarter, home of the rich and famous! Even though you've only just gotten together as a team, it seems like the world has its eyes on you more so than any average team. You are quite the eclectic bunch after all.

Your base has been built with a more collaborative approach, with influences from both Fuseon and Riavell. In particular, the living quarters of your base has adopted a recent fad that blends the zen and relaxing natures of Riavellan architecture with the futuristic technology of Fuseon intermingled in a non-invasive way. From the naked eye, you probably wouldn't even be able to notice the technology present in the living quarters. No expenses were saved in the creation of your base, don't you feel lucky?

You've been gathered to the briefing room located at the center of your base. A large circular room with holographic viewing screens, you see maps of Harmonia and various danger zones alongside wanted posters and dossiers on prominent villains in Harmonia. A circular couch sits at the center of the room and once you've all made your seats, a large viewing screen appears before you, showcasing the opening for your new team.

Opening Theme Song

The scene opens with the team sitting on the edge of the Cloud Quarter. Some have their feet hanging over the edge as they look over Harmonia from on high. Ghost turns her head to the rest of her team and nods her head before pushing herself off the edge. The others follow her as the drums come in. The camera zooms out and the text "The Unstoppable Wonder Valkyries" pops onto the screen in colorful, playful font.

Pictures fly by of the main cast hanging out with each other, doing various activities together. After that, individual photos of the cast start flashing in one by one, showing them all in costume and trying to put their game faces on, with a few who probably try and fail at it. Finally, the last picture flashes in, and it's of Ghost, holding a camera close to her face, as she takes a group selfie with everybody.

The camera cuts to a concrete wall. Cracks form in it, then Feijiang bursts out of it, spinning through the air like a tornado. With her twin axes in her hands, she cuts through the debris and then lands on the ground. It then focuses on her kneeling on the ground. She is lit from behind, casting most of her features in an intimidating shadow. Then she slowly stands up and takes her pose, and the lighting shifts to capture her in a dramatic, rather than scary light.

An image of Fuseon pops up on the left side followed by an image of Riavell on the other side. Spark then appears in the middle, coated in flames that wrap around the images of the two sides and forcefully tries to bring them together. Following the drum cues, the two sides move closer and closer together before they merge. The screen flashes and then transitions to Spadertaal bursting out from the ground. He has a small flower on his head. Noticing it, his huge, scary claws pick up the flower and place it back on the ground. Roots and vines grow rapidly from the flower, covering the screen as the song transitions to the chorus.

The camera does a 360 pan around Miss Wraith as she creates a blizzard, her skirt fluttering in the wind created. The screen gets obscured by the ice until Clatterclaw jumps through it, slashing at the screen vertically with a happy-go-lucky look on her face. The cuts expand into a scene change of Vitreloy. Enemies surround Vitreloy as he looks calmly around, stood in a grassy field, a bird lands on his bark covered arm and Vitreloy smiles softly as he lets the bird move onto his right arm, metallic and malformed. His left arm, mould ridden, rises and his fist tightens as the ground begins to shake. The small bird flies away and Vitreloy's bionic eyes shines as his right arm turns and the churning liquid metal in his veins pulsates faster. The enemies guns misfire in their hands, exploding slightly as vines erupt from the ground, wrapping round the men and pulling them to the floor. Vitreloy smirks letting the bird land once more on his metallic arm.

The camera travels in a line and passes through prominent figures for Team 2 such as Gareth, Ivan and Giovanni, Ms. Gammon, Qiling the Phoenix, Dr Winters and Foxfire. The final scene has Ghost beckoning everyone into a group photo. Feijiang looks slightly more reluctant than others as they begin to pose. Ghost sets up a camera stand and phases through the camera to get into position. There's a flash, and then we see the final picture.

Spark stands a bit further to the left, slightly separated from the rest of the team. She flicks her wrist out and on her upward palm constructs of flame appear, first a question mark, then a rose and then some complicated symbol that she looks vaguely disturbed by. Tunneler stands on the opposite side of Clatterclaws, claws united in a clapping motion, looking positively elated. Clatterclaw stands next to Ghost on her left, a fairly confident but non-smug smile on her face, arms crossed and her claws hanging to the sides from the sleeves of her cloak that is hung over her shoulders. Miss Wraith can be seen behind her, partially obscured as she peeks at the camera. Meanwhile, Ghost, the one the team chose as their leader, stands in the middle, making a V-Sign pose while winking excitedly at the camera, all while giving a great big bright smile. Vitreloy stands slightly to the back, putting him between Ghost and Feijing, liquid metal floating in his transformed hand and his little avian friend sitting on hi bark covered shoulder. Lastly, Feijiang stands on the far right of the group, holding one of her axes in the air and the other towards the ground. She casts a fiery eye towards the camera, and grins wildly. The camera lingers on it for a moment, before it zooms out to reveal a wall of pictures, with the team photo in the middle of it all.

The screen dissipates as the promotional video finishes and a hooded figure appears at the entrance of the room. He walks to the center and takes off his hood, revealing himself to be Gareth, Vitreloy's brother.

"Good job with the video everyone! For those who do not know who I am, let me introduce myself. My name is Gareth Craven and normally, I'm one of the councillor of Harmonia. However, due to the special nature of this team, Silvia and El Divani decided that I should be the supervisor for your team."

He nods his head, making sure that he has everyone's attention. He portrays a confidence in public speaking that gives him a strong presence. His face portrays a friendly smile as he continues to brief the group.

"To begin with, I bring the results of the vote for Team Leader. By a strong majority, Ghost has been elected to run your team. I congratulate you on your success and hope that you can lead your team to many more victories. Now, being with the Heroes of Harmonia comes with rules that need to be followed. Breaking the law is strictly forbidden. While normally there would be stricter rules regarding property damage, special exceptions have been made for your group due to the nature of your powers. Most importantly, never forget that the world is watching you, not just Harmonia. Stay together and represent the more positive values of the unity of Fuseonians and Riavellans."

As if on cue, a loud beeping noise originated from the main computer of the briefing room followed by the image of Lextrix Shopping Center, one of the largest malls in all of Harmonia. Scenes of a forest sprite on a giant tree titan are shown, causing havoc and damaging the place. Gareth did not look to even be fazed by the commotion as he turns to the team.

"Well, it looks like your next mission has arrived. Good luck and do us proud."

- - - - -

You've managed to make it to the mall and have been able to get a better picture of what's going on. For one thing, it looks like the forest sprite is still riding the tree titan. Mini tree titans seemed to have spawned as well, following the two in their rampage. Civillians were still in the area, trying their best to run away from the chaos. Now would probably be a good time for you to step in.

Your communicators buzz as Gareth's voice comes to life.

"Be careful, forest sprites have a very strong affinity with trees and tree titans. You can almost say they're symbiotic. If you want to do any meaningful damage to either of them, you're going to need to seperate them."

Special Rule: So long as the forest sprite and main tree titan are together, they cannot take any conditions

Everyone

What did you think about the promotional video and Ghost being nominated the leader? Is there something in the base that is just your favourite thing in the world and now you can’t imagine living without it? How do you feel about the information Gareth just gave you?

Ghost

Well, it looks like your big mouth has gotten you into the position of being the leader. Is it something that you actually wanted to happen? How do you feel about your teammates in comparison to yourself? They all seem to be strange or powerful in some way, shape or form while you are just... you.

What do you do?

Feijiang

This is outrageous! How dare Ghost take away your rightful position as team leader? Isn't it frustrating how someone so mundane got elected by everyone to be the leader of your awesome team? Well now's the time to show them what you've got, especially since you get to fight against such a large and powerful creature.

What do you do?

Clatterclaw and Miss Wraith

Hey, isn't there someone you recognize in the crowd? Wait, it's Jessica Kevins! She's awfully close to the action and almost looks petrified in fear. Do you want to go save her? How do you feel about seeing her here?

What do you do?

The Tuneller

Woah, first living in the sky and now being in a mall! A lot of strange and wonderful things are happening today. How do you feel about all the changes from life underground? Also, one of your leaders has contacted you recently. What did they want and how did they do so?

What do you do?

Spark

Oh, there's a lot of innocent people in the crowd. In fact, there are some people who you recognize as believers of the Cult of the Sacred Flame. How do you feel about using powers in such a public place, especially with your followers watching you? Do you feel the pressure to meet all the expectations that they've set for you?

What do you do?

Vitreloy

Did you know that your brother was going to be your supervisor? How do you feel to have your brother watching over all your actions as a member of the team? Does seeing the forest sprite bring back any memories of your life back in Riavell?

What do you do?

The duo were so focused on doing damage to the mall that Feijiang's attack hits them unexpectedly. The titan staggers backwards from Feijiang's hit and causes the sprite to lose its grip and fling off.

"Already!?" The spirte exclaims frustratedly as it notices the group of heroes who have unceremoniously made their entrance. He pushes himself up to see the tree titan still reeling.

Meanwhile, large flames gather around Spark as she tries to use her powers. The flames soon turn into sinuous, flaming tendrils that lash out erratically, crashing into anything that stood in its way. It's quickly apparent to everyone that Spark has no control over the tendrils as parts of the mall start collapsing and some innocent people are caught in the crossfire. Luckily for Jessica Kevins, Ghost manages to hold onto her and make her intangible just as a tendril slashes through them. Feijiang is not as lucky as one of the tendrils smashes her right into the stomach and into the ground. On the other hand, the Tunneler manages to dissuade the tendrils from attacking a nearby group of civilians through the clever use of water, but unintentionally makes himself a target as the tendrils repeatedly attack him.

Feijiang and The Tunneler take a powerful blow

Seeing the chaos, the sprite quickly throws his hands out towards the tree titan as a spell circle appears underneath it. Suddenly, a large, translucent barrier formed around the tree titan, protecting it from the tendrils that repeatedly smashes into the barrier, trying to break it down through sheer force to no success. One of the tendrils does collide with the spirte, however, causing him to tumble along the floor.

<The Forest Sprite marks Angry>

"Don't you see, everyone!" The forest sprite calls out, pointing towards Spark. "This is the reason why the two sides cannot co-exist! We get dangerous monsters who masquerade themselves as allies! Harmonia has no need for expansion!"

The barrier around the dissipates as the titan starts to gain its footing. The sprite turns its attention onto Spark and calls forth vines that quickly make their way towards the heroine. While there are some civilians who have been knocked out and slightly burnt due to Spark's attack, nearly everyone else has evacuated the mall by this point. In fact, the only civilian that is still here is Jessica.

Ghost

"You saved my life!" Jessica says in astonishment, her mind still reeling from everything going on. "Hey, wait a minute, is that Rachel? Rachel! Raaaachelll! You've got to get out of here! Oh, my god, you've got to help me. That's my friend, Rachel, over there. You've got to get her out of danger! I won't leave without her!"

Well, this is a bit of an awkward situation. It seems like Clatterclaw didn't bother to tell her that she was a superhero and from the looks of things, she looks stubborn enough to follow through with not leaving until her friend does. Also, this mission has managed to turn badly really quickly. Do you blame yourself for what's going on?

What do you do?

Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith

What here is in the greatest danger?

Since most of the civilians have vacated by this point, the only non-superpowered person who is conscious around here is Jessica. Additionally, you can still see bodies of unconscious people lying around the mall. They look to be alive, for the moment, but they can very easily get even more injured if they're not evacuated, especially with the fires that are slowly approaching them.

quote:

How could we best end this quickly?

It seems that the forest sprite seems to be the one who is spearheading this operation. If you take him out, the tree titan will probably lose its motivation and leave. Even if it doesn't, the forest sprite does have protection magic to keep the tree titan safe. Either way, your best bet is to make sure the forest sprite goes down.

Thank god for Ghost. If it wasn't for her, Jessica could've been in a whole load of trouble. Still, you have other things to worry about. Like for one thing, Jessica doesn't seem to be leaving and is calling out to you. Doesn't she know how much danger she's in? With so much going on, what do you think the team should focus on?

What do you do?

Spark

The forest sprite's words hit you very hard as you start to regain control of your powers. Looking around, it seems that some of your followers got caught up in the fiasco of your powers. Maybe you are just a danger to the people around you. Still, you aren't given that much time to think as you notice the vines snaking their way towards you.

The Forest Sprite is using his influence to shift your Danger up and your Saviour down.

What do you do?

Feijiang

Man, that has got to hurt. You managed to set up the perfect opportunity for your team and they still find a way to mess up. Just whose fault is this since it obviously isn't yours?

What do you do?

The Tuneller

Jesus, that probably didn't go as well as you expected. Have you ever seen Spark like that, even with how much the two of you hang out together? You look around and see flames advancing menacingly towards a pair of unconscious humans. However, you also see the Forest Sprite a short distance away attacking your friend!

What do you do?

Vitreloy

Well, it looks like Feijiang didn't listen to Ghost and a whole series of unfortunate events have occurred. Still, you've managed to avoid most of the chaos for now. Time is of the essence and there are quite a few problems you need to deal with. How do you feel about all that's happened and what are your priorities?

The sprite's having a really bad day. He watches in frustration while his vines were abated by Vitreloy's. Even worse, he has to watch Clatterclaw mercilessly slash away all of his wonderful greenery. He lets out frustrated gargles as he suddenly enlarges one of the vines and smashes them into Vitreloy while the vine around Clatterclaw's neck chokes her and throws her into a wall. Afterwards, the vines immediately dissipate, the rest having been cut up by Clatterclaw's attacks.

Vitleroy and Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith take a powerful blow

<Forest Sprite marks Insecure>

At that point, he heard the Tuneller.

"You take that back! I am not simple!" He hollers, his desperate emotions blinding him from realizing Vitleroy's metal ensnaring his legs. As he tries to run towards the Tuneller, the bindings around his leg cause him to fall over. Now is the time to strike!

On the other hand, the tree titan had managed to regain its footing. Looking around, he immediately notices the flames coming from Spark. In a primal response, he swings his staff right at them. While Feijiang notices it and manages to avoid the swing in time, Spark was too busy trying to make sense of all the chaos around her that she suddenly finds herself on the receiving end of the attack!

Spark takes a powerful blow

The tree titan looks at Feijiang and readies another swing at her, adrenaline rushing through his veins as his instincts to fight kick in.

Then there's Jessica.

"Oh my god, what is Rachel doing? She can fight? With blades? Come on! You can do it, Rachel! Show that dumb creature what you've got! Oh my god, I hope she's not too hurt. Can you make sure she's ok?"

Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith

Your claws seem to have done the trick and you have the sprite on the back foot. Do you have any reservations about causing collateral damage in a public place, especially one as popular as Lextrix Shopping Center? You hear Jessica's cheers as well. In fact, they bolster you and increase the confidence that you have. You can take on the world, can't you?

Act as if you're on the receiving end of a comfort/support hit

What do you do?

Feijiang

Man, what the hell is Ghost doing? Doesn't she realize what the situation is? How could anyone like her ever be elected leader? Oh well, at least you can take out your frustrations on the tree titan. He's probably going to be a good fight too. How do you feel to be facing something that could be around ten times your size?

What do you do?

Ghost

quote:

What do you want me to do?

She wants you to make sure that her friend Rachel is ok and that you help her defeat the enemies she's facing. She'd also love it if you could get Rachel to come and talk to her afterwards. She probably is really eager to know where she got those blades from.

quote:

How could I get Jessica to leave?

Reassure her that Rachel is going to be ok and tell her that she's probably going to get in the way of her friend's team. Either that or promise her that you'll get Rachel to talk to her as soon as she can. You can tell she's becoming a fan.

quote:

What are you really planning?

She's planning on wanting to talk to Rachel and gush to her about how awesome she looked and why she didn't tell her about her super cool new fighting abilities before. She wants to be there for Rachel as a friend and has missed hanging out with her. In essence, she's just trying to be a good friend.

Well at least Jessica's not panicking anymore and you've got a good read on how to get her to listen to you. Maybe you should focus on what you actually came here to do? Are you worried about how much time you've spent dealing with Jessica?

What do you do?

Spark

Today really isn't you day, isn't it? You've hurt your followers by complete accident and the world just seems to want to make you it's punching bag. Have you ever had a day this bad? Don't you just want to let your powers take control and show everyone what you can really do?

What do you do?

The Tunneler

You've done well to aggravate the Sprite. Still, Spark isn't doing so well. First she loses control of her powers and then she gets hit by the tree titan. Do you want to help her? Then again, you still have the tree titan that Feijiang's facing on her own. Maybe you should go there instead?

What do you do?

Vitleroy

Though the vine did hurt, you've still managed to create a good opportunity for Clatter & Wraith. Still, you can't help but worry about Feijiang. She's facing that gigantic tree titan. Sure, her father figure did put her through metaphorical hell to make her a superpowered fighting machine, but do you still feel nervous about her taking on that creature alone? Then again, you still haven't completely dealt with the sprite. Do you trust your team to have that covered?

The sprite's body twitches slightly as his injured form bleeds out. That's a lot of blood. From what you can tell, he's probably just on the cusp of dying. If he doesn't get medical attention quickly, he's probably going to die. Still, there are other pressing issues at hand, such as the tree titan. Oh yeah, there's also your super powerful teammate who has just lost control of her powers. Flames exploded out of her, causing the tree titan to ignite in flames.

<Tree Titan marks Afraid

Being on fire and recognizing the danger that Spark poses, the tree titan immediately runs back towards Riavell, damaging roads and buildings on its way due to the erratic movements. It was not the only one who was caught up in the flames, however. Jessica, having listened to Ghost's words, tried to make her way out of there. In her rush to leave, she didn't notice Clatterclaw's deadly display. Or the flames. Blown away by the initial explosion, she crashes into a wall and falls unconscious, light burns forming on her back from the impact.

While the Tunneler's ingenuity manages to prevent the entire mall from collapsing in on itself due to Spark's powers, it still causes a lot of damage. Mainly towards her teammates. Ghost and Clatterclaw are blown back by the initial blast while the temperature of the area slowly rises with the increasing intensity of Spark's powers. Additionally, it seems like Spark still hasn't regained control. At this rate, the mall will be the least of your problems. You need to do something. Fast.

New Rule: In order to regain control of her powers, Spark must either lose all her conditions, gain 5 conditions or get knocked out.

Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith

Well, the only solace that you can take from this is that Jessica may not have seen you rip that guy to shreds. Still, are you able to live with yourself after causing so much damage? How can you be trusted to be a hero? Then again, Jessica also got hurt in the blast! Do you blame yourself or someone else for letting her get hurt?

What do you do?

Feijiang

Man, you didn't even get to showcase your awesome powers and now everything has gone to poo poo! Do you blame anyone for having the mission gone so badly? How do you think the team should deal with the situation? Maybe it's time for you to step up as the leader to show everyone how it's done.

What do you do?

Ghost

Things have really gone badly for you, haven't they? You were so focused on your team that you forgot to ensure that Jessica made it out safely. Do you blame yourself for this disaster of a mission? Do you find yourself thinking about how out of your depth you are here? What about your mother?

What do you do?

Spark

Yes! Now you'll show the world just what you can do! You've managed to crush the dumb Titan that dared strike you. How good does it feel to not have to reign in your powers anymore? Do you feel anything else apart from pure, unbridled pleasure? What about those weak teammates that you have? They obviously can't compare to your sheer power. How do you feel about them?

What do you do?

The Tunelller

While your attempts to mitigate the damage seem to be successful, it's quickly becoming apparent that it was only a temporary solution. What actions do you feel need to be taken to rescue your friend? All of the other humans and other creatures seem to have been evacuated. Is there anything you can take from your homeworld that can be applied here?

What do you do?

Vitreloy

It seems that your quick thinking has managed to get the civilians out. Still, there's the bleeding Sprite still left. He was your enemy, but you doubt he's going to be doing anything threatening anytime soon. Do you want to help him? Then again, what about your teammates? You probably have the best chance of fighting against Spark's powers? Where do your priorities lie? How do you feel about how badly the mission has gone?

It's absolute chaos. While the Sprite's major injuries seem to have been healed up thanks to the foreign technology of Spade's people, the creature is still in danger. If he doesn't get more medical help soon, it probably will spell the end for the formerly rampaging Riavellan. Jessica also is in the safe hands of Vitreloy, as he manages to pick her up just in time to save her from a jet of flame shooting out.

"What madness is this!?" Mecha-Saviour calls out, flying into the now ruined remains of Lextrix Shopping Center. He doesn't look to be alone as more superheroes quickly follow behind him. Clearly, your chaos has attracted quite a lot of the Heroes of Harmony. None of them look particularly pleased, however.

Feijiang, Ghost and Spark

"This is what you get when you have a dumb normie trying to lead the group," Alexandra comments bitterly. She quickly turns towards Spark and unleashes a powerful psychic blast, lifting her up into the air and smashing her down into the ground. The harsh impact quickly knocks Spark out, her flames dissipating around her. She scoffs at the unconscious figure before crossing her arms and focusing her attention on Ghost.

"Well done normie. Don't you realise how much of a liability you are to the group? Why don't you just go home and stop pretending to be your mother? You'll never be half the hero she was."

Alexandra is trying to shift Ghost's Mundane up and Saviour down.

Spark cannot take any more conditions from Alexandra and is therefore knocked unconscious.

What do you do?

The Tunneler

A disgruntled Orchid makes her way over towards you.

"Move out of the way! Your team has already done more than enough damage."

Standing over the forest sprite, stems grow out of her arms and shoot towards the unconscious figure, wrapping themselves around him and slowly supplying him with life energy. His condition seems to have stabilised thanks to her intervention. A permanent scowl seems to be present on her face as she turns to address you.

"Don't you have any concept of self-restraint? You could've killed him! Are all people from your homeworld like this?" She proclaims angrily. Wait, she thinks you are the one that caused this? You were trying to help him! You can't help having large claws and it's not like you're the only one on the team that has them.

What do you do?

Vitreloy

Mecha-Saviour flies towards you, noticing the unconscious figure of Jessica in your arms.

"I see you've done your best to make good of a terrible situation," He comments sadly, taking Jessica from you. "I'll be sure to make note of the effort you put towards protecting the civilians to your brother. He's going to have a field day dealing with all of this."

Oh yeah, your brother is supposed to be the one looking after your group. Mecha-Saviour gives you a sympathetic look before continuing.

"I'll be sure to take this girl over here to the hospital. She seems to be alive, at the very least. Not sure if we can do much about her burns. You and your team should get out of here. You've already done enough and after all this, I doubt you'd want to face the press."

Feijiang and Ghost

Alexandra looks unimpressed by Feijiang's attempts to rattle her. In fact, her attempts to do so only make her chuckle derisively. She's obviously taking quite a bit of pleasure from watching the two of you flounder, Ghost in particular. Her cocky smile turns to the frown when Ghost starts to talk back to her. She's almost taken aback by them. Still, it doesn't take long for her to start rolling her eyes at the girl. At the mention of Ghost's mother, she noticeably scowls, the mere mention of her igniting something within her mind. When Ghost starts talking to the other heroes, however, she turns her attention back to Feijiang.

"Well, at least she's going to take responsibility for screwing up." She chews her lip, still looking visibly displeased. "Still, you've got a lot to learn if you ever want to consider yourself a true hero. If you ever want to stop being a human wrecking ball and actually be a heroine, call me up. Until then, don't think you can get away with just pushing people around. You're lucky I didn't throw you against the wall."

Alexandra gains influence over Feijiang, but because she already has influence, she shifts Feijiang's Danger up and Saviour down.

With that lightly-veiled warning, she turns around and focuses on the rest of the destruction that you've caused.

Vitreloy

quote:

What are you really planning?

Mecha-Saviour has the Heroes of Harmony's best intentions at heart. Due to his strong morals, he has faith that at least some members of your team have acted in good spirits, especially after he's seen you protecting Jessica. He plans to try and work with Gareth to limit the reputational damage to your team and the Heroes of Harmony, though that may involve exposing an uncomfortable nature of one or more of your teammates.

He notices you looking at him and gives a warm smile. This attention quickly shifts over to Ghost, as she makes her strong declaration. He chuckles heartily.

"That girl has a strong spirit, I'll give her that." He comments amusedly. "You can tell her that even though she is the leader, the team still need to be responsible for their actions. We'll come up with something for you to do later. Right now, if you want to help us, I would suggest getting back to the Cloud Quarter as soon as you can. You probably don't want to stick around."

The Tunneler

Orchid scoffs at the Tuneller's attempts to explain the situation. She's currently focusing on trying to get the Sprite into a more healthy state. At the mention of the vendolium, she looks at it for a second before having one of her vines pick it up and resting it on the Sprite. The two in conjunction seem to further improve the healing process and she looks mildly impressed by the technology.

"Don't tell me how I should be." She responds scathingly, her petal flaring up. She immediately quietens at the sound of Ghost. She looks at her somewhat sympathetically.

"Poor girl, it is not entirely her fault that she became like this." She mutters to herself, turning towards Spark and leering. "Judging from the flames, I can guess who's fault this is. I knew something like this would happen."

At this point, she seems to talking to herself more so than you and momentarily forgets that you are there, before she turns to face you.

"Why are you just standing there? Leave me alone. I need to focus on this problem at the moment that your team caused." Her words turn caustic again as she refocuses her attention on the Sprite.

All of the adult heroes seem to have made one thing clear. You aren't wanted here. Gathering together your unconscious allies, you make your way back to base. As you walk past people, they look at you with a mixture of fear and disgust. You probably could've made a better first impression.

END OF THE SESSION

At the end of every session, choose one:

- Grow closer to the team. Explain who made you feel welcome; giveInfluence to that character and clear a condition or mark potential.
- Grow into your own image of yourself. Explain how you see yourself and why; shift one Label up and another down.
- Grow away from the team. Explain why you feel detached. Take Influence over you away from another character.

Everyone

In the evening, after Spark had regained consciousness and Clatterclaw has been fixed up, you've been asked to gather once again in the briefing room. You've heard bits and pieces about how the media has portrayed your mission, and they haven't been good. What has been said about you and how do you feel about it? Are you nervous about getting together as a team again? What in particular is on your mind?

What do you do?

As Ghost manages to drop all of the cookies on the floor, Gareth makes his entrance. The first thing that's immediately clear is that the man is clearly stressed out. He also hasn't entered alone. He's flanked on both sides by powerful looking women. Both women seem to be carrying short swords with them and while one looks to be covered in cybernetic armour, the other looks to be wearing simple clothing. The three of them head towards the rest of the group, with the woman in the simple clothing helping Ghost pick up her cookies before giving her a wink. She quickly joins Gareth and the other woman.

"Greetings team." Gareth begins. His voice sounds heavy as he addresses the group, a sure sign of the stress that he is currently undergoing. "I will not mince words. That mission did not go well. However, I am not here to admonish or punish you for your actions. While I can imagine you have been thinking very hard about why the mission went wrong, let us try and take something positive from it. To help me with this, I have two of my good friends with me tonight. Firstly, Captain Ressiant Stavos is my personal bodyguard. She has been with me ever since I have come to Harmonia and has been through many hardships, considering her upbringing in Riavell. As for my other guest, I'll let her introduce herself."

On his word, she immediately steps forward and brandishes her sword confidently. The sword lets out a jovial cry as it is released from its scabbard and she flashes a wide grin to the 6 heroes.

"Greetings The Unstoppable Wonder Valkyries! I am Sabre Knight, proud member of the Heroes of Harmony! This sword is my trusty companion, Siegfried! Together we fight for all that is good and just in Harmonia!" For a moment, she tries to keep a straight face, but almost immediately breaks character into a tiny fit of giggles.

"Ophelia, what have I said about breaking character in front of others?" Siegfried admonishes, sounding pretty exasperated for a sword. Ophelia takes a moment to gain back her composure, a silly grin still on her face.

"Siegfried, there's a time and place for characters. In any case, we need to be serious here." She turns back to the Valkyries. "By the way, you guys have the best superhero team name ever. I wish my team were half as interesting as you guys. In any case, I'm Ophelia Cladwell, a member of the Heroes of Harmony. You see, Gareth and I go back to ever since he first came to Harmonia and when I heard his team were facing some difficulties, I knew I had to help out. I saw the vids of you guys in action. Not going to lie, I've seen supervillains cause less property damage than you did. Still, you guys are strong and have lots of potential. You can't let one mistake bring you down. Sure, it was a humongous mistake, but so what? When I first started, I screwed up too. It's in our nature."

Ophelia hits a successful comfort/support roll on everyone.

"Now, with that in mind, Ressiant and I are not only here to provide you with kind words. We're part of the plan of action that the Heroes of Harmonia are undertaking to help your reputation improve. You know that danger room downstairs? You'd better get used to seeing it because you're going to be receiving personal training from Ressiant and myself tomorrow. Plus, as part of a media campaign to spin your team in a positive light, we're going to broadcast your training sessions to Harmonia. That way, you can show them how you really are, rather than have them focus on the Lextrix Shopping Center incident."

Ressiant suddenly steps forwards and stops Ophelia from talking. She had been standing silently behind Gareth the entire time listening to Ophelia address the team. She looks poised and composed as she moves next to her compatriate.

"But before that, we're going to address another issue that we found through watching your videos. Your unity. As a team, you need to be there to bolster each other and cover your weaknesses. A lack of communication can lead to misunderstanding and due to the powerful nature of most of your powers, that could spell disaster. With that in mind, we have decided that your group needs to have a bonding session this evening. As a group, you can decide how to have this session. It could be a party, or a discussion forum or even sparring matches with one another. If you do choose the final option, please wait until we're in the Danger Room before using your powers on each other. In the end, we hope to help not only improve team unity, but also help alleviate the stress you must be feeling after last mission."

Ophelia watches with great amusement as Feijiang introduces herself.

"I like your spunk, kid." She retorted, giving her a thumbs up. The positivity in the room gets sucked out at Spark's announcement and a look of horror shoots across Gareth's face. Similarly, Reissant adopts a look of minor shock while Ophelia looks disappointedly towards her. As Gareth moved to say something, he was immediately interrupted by Ghost. At this point, the three silently watched over the team. They knew better than to interfere with the inner machinations of the team. Gareth, at the very least, seemed openly relieved when Spark changed her tune while Reissant looked impassive.

"Ooh, this is going to be interesting," Siegfried whispers to Ophelia as Clatterclaw storms out of the room. Opheila and Gareth exchange concerned looks while Reissant lets out a small sigh to herself.

"If you don't mind, Gareth, I'll be making my way down to observe the sparring matches." Reissant addresses before swiftly following behind Clatterclaw. Gareth nods his head at her, still tired from the events of the day. He still manages to give Spark a friendly smile.

"To be fair, Spark, you probably would not have been allowed to quit. I'm sure you realize by now that no prison would be able to contain you or your powers. If you truly want to take responsibility for your powers, then you need to learn to stop running from your mistakes. Face them head on and learn from them. That's probably what Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith were trying to convey." He stops talking, looking towards the entry way towards the danger room. "As Ghost has said, it may be better for you to confront Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith rather than letting that divide grow. I can assure you that the Danger Room has been made with the most resilient technology known to Fuseon or Riavell. If the worse case scenario does occur, your friends not in the room will be safe."

On the other hand, Opheila makes her way towards Ghost.

"Hey there kiddo." She flashes her signature smile and pats her on the back. "I can see why your team elected you the leader. You have the social aspects down pat. However, that can only get you so far. Sometimes, you need to lead the team by example. I watched the videos and there were times where you were flustered or obviously stressed. While it's certainly ok to feel those things, you need to work on your confidence. I can see that you have it in you, you just need to manifest it. Stand behind your decisions and if necessary, be there on the front lines. If you show your hand too much, that energy can pass on to the others and make them feel doubtful. I'm not saying it will be easy. Heck, it took me a long time to portray my confident side to the world. Just remember that as a leader, not only does the public look to you, but the team does as well."

She smiles warmly at Ghost, giving her another wink before straightening herself up and helping herself to one of the cookies that she had managed to sneak into her pocket.

"These cookies are amazing! In any case, you guys should probably follow after Reissant. If you don't want to fight, there's an observation area where you can watch over what happens in the Danger Room from on high. I know I'll be headed there." With that, Ophelia trots off to the Danger Room Observation Area, her sword humming along with her.

Meanwhile, Reissant meets up with Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith inside of the danger room. Her expression never changes as she walks up to the pair.

"I know I don't need to tell you to be more careful with your claws." Reissant frankly states, taking out her blade. "I'll be observing the sparring matches from inside the danger room. If I feel that anyone is getting too close to causing serious harm, I will intervene. I assume you're ok with this?"

You could tell it wasn't really a question. She seemed deadly serious and from being Gareth's bodyguard, you know that she is at least skilled with her blade. She takes a moment to look you over before asking.

"So, what was with the display you made back there? Why do you really want to spar? I assume there is more reasoning behind your motivations than just being for fun, am I wrong?"

Reissant stayed silent, letting Clatterclaw vent out her feelings. Her expression stayed impassive, but a twinge of understanding could be seen if you looked hard enough. In response to your question, Reissant gathers her thoughts for a second before responding with sharp clarity.

"I can understand where you are coming from. I am glad that you are able to recognise your flaws and taking action towards improving yourself." She walks up to you and lays a hand softly on your shoulder, crouching to your eye level. "However, do not let emotions cloud your judgment. While there are certainly times where it is appropriate to focus on training, you cannot neglect your emotional health. The main purpose of these sessions are to release negative emotions that have been built up from the mission. I suggested a party not to celebrate the mission, but to celebrate that you are still a team and recognise that you are there for each other."

Reissant gives you a small smile, a rarity for the bodyguard.

"I can tell you that Jessica is not permenantly disfigured. The majority of her burns were on her back and the most obvious of them have been dealt with. I personally doubt that Spark did the things she did because she wanted a pity party. She probably has just a strong a burden as you, but it may not manifest in the same way."

"Clatterclaw. Never forget you are a hero. While that may sound strange to you, you would not be with the Heroes of Harmony if we thought otherwise. Know that your team are here for you, as are the Heroes of Harmony. We believe in you."

Reissant is using her influence to shift Saviour up and Danger down.

Reissant looks to Vitreloy as impassively as she had done so in the past. She hesitates, thinking for a moment before answering Vitreloy question.

"I will allow it, Willard. You will need to keep yourself safe, though. I will be focusing on the battle and may not be able to watch over you the entire time. Judging from the sheer power from the combatants, it's probably going to be a very chaotic fight."

Once she was assured that everyone else was in the danger room's observation area, she turned her attention towards Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith and Spark.

"The match between Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith and Spark will begin. First one to make their opponent concede wins. I will remind the both of you that if I think one of you is going too far, I will intervene. Is that clear?"

She gives time for the other two to accept, nodding her head towards them when they do.

"Gareth, if you would activate the simulation. Choose an appropriate arena for them."

"I believe this shall suffice." You hear Gareth say over the intercom, as your surroundings suddenly change. Rock formations suddenly start to crop up and before you know it, you're now in the middle of a valley. There are many rock outcroppings in the area which you can hide behind and empty land elsewhere. Reissant and Vitreloy find themselves on top of a very tall outcropping while the others stand in the center.

"Now then, let's begin!"

The observation room is similar in aesthetic to the briefing room, only with stronger leanings towards the technological side rather than the natural side. The walls are adorned with all manner of machinery and electrical technology, some of which you have never seen before. It's situated towards the top of the danger room, allowing a top-down view of the entire area through a gigantic window the size of the wall. As you take your seats in the comfortable cushions and beanbags, Gareth moves over towards the console and begins typing commands into it.

"I believe this shall suffice." He says into the microphone, activating the danger room programs before turning to the rest of the group. Ophelia and Siegfried jump happily onto a beanbag, adjusting themselves a bit before turning to the window. From those outside, the window will have simply disappeared. The others in the observation room can still see the match happen.

"So, who do you think is going to win?" Ophelia asks the group, getting a bit excited by all the events. "I mean, Spark has so much power behind her, but Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith outnumber her. It should be a really good match."

Gareth runs his hand through his hair as he joins the group, sitting in one of the sofas.

"We never had a chance to talk about how you feel about last mission. If there was a time for discussion, now would be a good time to do so."

Reissant doesn't seem to even recognise the loss in power as her visor suddenly lights up, creating an overlay in front of her face.

"Ideally, you won't need to," Reissant responds curtly. Her eyes quickly scan around the battlefield, never seeming to miss a beat. She didn't even flinch as Spark crashed into the wall. It's safe to say that her mind is focused on the battle. The lights turn on and the overlay immediately vanishes.

"Nice job," she comments. Seems like business as usual.

Ghost, Feijiang and The Tuneller

"Oi, who turned out the lights!" You hear Siegfried call out. Ophelia chuckles to herself while Garret could be heard sighing to himself.

"They'd better be able to turn the power back on," Gareth commented dryly. He looks appreciative of the Tunneler's technology. Illuminated in the light, he turned towards Ghost.

"Yes. We should. I say this not because I want to be mean or harsh, but because the only way that your team will learn is if we do analyse what mistakes were made and see how we can learn from that." He puts his hand through his hair as Ophelia joins the conversation.

"Hey, I know it's hard, but it's a part of being a hero sadly." She comments, her eyes quickly drifting back to the window. "Man, I wish they didn't turn off the lights. I was really looking forward to seeing the two of them fight."

Almost as soon as she said that, all the lights suddenly come back into the room. Due to the Tunneler's torchrock, it took no time for any of them to adjust to the light. Gareth looked between the three before speaking.

"So, to get the conversation started, who do you think from your team is most at fault for the previous mission ending the way that it did?"

Ophelia let out a slight gasp in the background, her eyes widening slightly in surprise. Almost immediately Siegfried piped in.

"Hey, hey, that's a bit of a harsh question to ask the children!"

quote:

What are you really planning?

Gareth is planning on getting the team to stick together no matter what. He's almost doggedly determined to drag the team through their problems and solve them so that they are able to work effectively together as a unit. From there, he'd want to work on improving the team's image so that he has a lot less work to do with regards to trying to maintain a positive image for the team.

quote:

What do you want me to do?

Gareth wants you to lead the discussion about the previous mission and work with him to improve team unity. He sees you as one of the most reliable members of the team and recognises the influence you have over the rest of them. He's hoping that if you step into the role of leader, the others will follow eagerly behind you.

quote:

What do you intend to do?

While he seems harsh, he's trying to give you a little tough love to nudge you in the right direction. He wants the team to work out and tackle tough questions that need to be asked. He's going to continue to ask questions and facilitate discussion to try and find what he determines is the root of the problem and go from there.

Clatterclaw & Miss Wraith, Spark and Vitreloy

Reissant nods her head in approval at Clatterclaw and Miss Wraith's yield, looking over towards Vitreloy.

"To be honest, Willard, that is something you are going to need to find out yourself. You can't force your team to get confidence, they have to build that up themselves. If it were so easy to build up, there would be many more confident people in the world." She responds bluntly, looking impassive even when trying to give advice. Well, that wasn't really what you were hoping to hear, was it? Maybe there isn't a lot you can do about the situation.

Vitreloy marks Insecure

"Good job in the sparring, both of you. It is clear to me that you have at least made slight improvements from how you were in the mall," Reissant called out to the combatants, jumping down from the outcropping she had been standing on. "The next step is to take what you have learned here to the field. Also, Miss Wraith, try and be more careful when short-circuiting electronics. You took power away from the entire base and were it not for Vitreloy's intervention, the security of the base could have been seriously compromised."

She pulls up her overlay and turns towards a random part of the wall, seeming to be able to find where the window to the observation area was. Ophelia's voice boomed around the Danger Room, with Reissant looking unimpressed.

"Great job with the battle you two. Ok, now the next spar is going to be between you three in the Danger Room and the other three in the Observation Room. You have some time to discuss who's going to take the lead before we send the other three down. Good luck and have fun!"

Reissant runs her hand through her hair, letting out a slight sigh before turning to the trio.

"Well, you have some time to discuss. I don't have any idea what Ophelia is going on about, but once she has her mind set it's hard to convince her otherwise."

How do you feel about this situation? Do you feel confident about fighting against your teammates? What about your own powers and why do you think she's making you spar?

What do you do?

Feijiang, Ghost and The Tunneler

Once the conversation started, Gareth and Ophelia stood to one side, letting the three heroes talk it out between each other. Gareth looks gratefully at Ghost, though looks nervously on occasion when the team gets particularly dramatic. Ophelia, meanwhile, seems to have focused her attention on the sparring match, though occasionally looking at the trio in the Observation room with a knowing look. In particular, her focus seems to be on Ghost. Ever since she's been here, she's been keeping an especially close eye on her more so than any of her teammates.

"Feijiang does have a point." Ophelia comments once she recognizes the main conversation seems to have died down. "At this point, it's a bit redundant getting too caught up in who's fault it is. Recognize it and learn from it, that's my motto. Ghost did raise a good point, however. She, and probably the rest of guys, don't have a good knowledge of what each other's abilities are. If you don't know what each other is capable of, you aren't going to be able to work well together." Her eyes glance over towards the match that has just concluded, a mischevious sparkle glistening in her eyes as she moves towards the console.

"Ophelia, what are you doing?" Gareth says nervously as Ophelia speaks into the microphone and presses a button.

"Great job with the battle you two. Ok, now the next spar is going to be between you three in the Danger Room and the other three in the Observation Room. You have some time to discuss who's going to take the lead before we send the other three down. Good luck and have fun!" As soon as she finishes, she quickly turns towards the three heroes in the Observation Room with a radiant smile.

"Now then, as leader Ghost, you're going to take charge of your team. You guys have spent a lot of time talking, but now is time to put your money where your mouth is. I have high expectations, especially after the little pow wow the three of you had." She gives another mischevious wink before turning to Gareth, who started to chuckle.

"Ophelia, I never really know what you're going to do." He admits sheepishly, smiling at her. "You heard Ophelia, get ready to spar. It might do you well to come with a strategy and possibly learn more about what each of you can do. I'll need to decide on a different arena."

Well, how do you feel the discussions have been with your teammates here? How do you feel about suddenly being thrown in for a sparring match? Do any of Ophelia's words catch your attention in particular? How do you fancy your chances?

Opehlia and Garrett look increasingly concerned as the trio discussed their plan, or more accurately, lack of a plan. The ensuing argument afterwards didn't help ease their worries either. Gareth makes a motion to try to interfere, but Ophelia holds him back and gives him a stern look. At first, Gareth looks to object, but eventually cedes control back to Ophelia and watches the three head into the arena. Once the three had left, Gareth sighs to himself.

"I have a feeling this is going to end really badly." He moves over to the console and begins toying around with the controls, seeming to lose himself in the technology. Ophelia gives him a sympathetic look before patting him on the back and giving him an encouraging smile.

"To be honest, it's better for them to make mistakes here than on the field. If anything, this match should be a good learning lesson and a way to gauge their abilities," Ophelia encourages, rubbing his back for a second before grabbing one of the bean bags and dragging it over towards the window. "Hey, do you know if this place can make some popcorn? This is going to be one for the ages, hopefully!"

"Hey, save some for me!" Siegfried shouts, the two of them laughing together. Gareth chuckles along with them, a tiny smile playing on his mouth.

Danger Room

The scenery changes back to the original room while waiting for Ghost, Feijiang and The Tunneler. Reissant seems to recognise Vitreloy's discomfort and looked to be making a move towards talking to him, but stops when she sees Clatterclaw and the others approach him. Instead, she stands back and watches the trio plan, frowning to herself. Once she sees Ghost enter, she straightens herself.

"Once your friends have joined you, we can begin the preparations." She states, moving to stand in between Ghost and the other trio.

Once Feijiang and Spade enter the room, Reissant has them stand in the middle of the arena, each trio facing each other.

"Alright, same rules as before. First team to make their opponents concede wins. If you choose to concede personally or it looks like you are in too dangerous a situation, I will come in and take you out of the fight. If you do, you cannot rejoin the fight. Is that clear to everyone?"

As Reissant finishes, the scenery around you changes once again. Platforms rise and binary symbols appear all over them, slowly changing the appearance of the platforms to those of city buildings. Once Gareth is finished, you are left standing in the middle of a street in a city. Tall buildings surrounding you and a simulated night sky can be seen above. Street lights brighten the dim surroundings and there are a few cars in the area too.

Feijiang and Spade keep on looking towards Ghost for guidance while shooting each other mean and hostile looks. It's pretty clear that Ghost is probably the only thing keeping their team from completely breaking apart due to infighting. If you want to end this match quickly, either focus your aggression on Ghost so that she gets taken out of the fight or push the negative relationship between Feijiang and Spade to the point where their ability to work as a team utterly collapses and they openly start fighting each other instead of your team.

The three adults are silent as they watch the match unfurl. Even Reissant looks uncomfortable watching the fight as she activates her communicator.

"I hope you got what you wanted, Ophelia." Ressiant admonished bluntly. Her normally levelled voice had a touch of anger in it while Ophelia sat quietly in the observation room. Even Siegfried was silent as they watched while Gareth had a look of pure horror, his focus entirely on Vitreloy. Ophelia grabs hold of his hand tightly while continuing to watch.

"That seemed obvious enough," Reissant noted to Ghost, a sense of relief present in her voice. At first, she watches the teen drama unfurl before her stoically, with an extra focus on Vitreloy. Even since the battle, she's mostly been focused on Vitreloy, though she has been looking at the rest of the team with some serious concern too. The Tunneler's words take her by surprise and gives her a moment to pause.

"I guess you can try..." Reissant begins, the sudden outburst putting her in a state of confusion.

If you look to the entryway, you can see Ophelia standing there with Siegfried, somewhat apprehensive about entering the room. As Ghost leaves, the simulation that was projected by the Danger Room starts to deteriorate, leaving you two in the empty room with Reissant. Throughout the entire series of events, she hasn't moved, though she does look slightly concerned for you and your team. You did just get rejected by Ghost after all. Her general response irritates you. After all, it was partially her fault that the situation escalated to the point that it did.

Mark Angry

"Are you ok?" Reissant asks, her voice disrupting the still atmosphere. Do you want to talk to Reissant about how you feel? How do you feel about how everything has turned out? Do you still have faith in Ghost as a leader? What about the rest of your team? Do you have any idea how to salvage the situation?

What do you do?

Feijiang and Spade

After Feijiang has her tea, you head up towards Ghost's room and find the note that she left. Hmmm, maybe you should go and find her so that you could sort this all out. Then again, how do you feel about Ghost training by herself and slightly isolating herself from the rest of the team? How do you feel about the rest of the team for that matter? When was the last time the six of you did something together that didn't end in catastrophe? Maybe you should work towards getting your team together or do you feel like you need to sort out the current issue between yourselves and Ghost before confronting the rest of the team?

What do you do?

Good for you for wanting to train yourself! Unfortunately, you probably haven't really done this sort of thing before. The training room is styled like a dojo with all manner of dumbbells, training dummies and other training devices that you probably don't have the faintest clue of. Still, you make a valiant effort towards training yourself, however you decide to proceed with that. A few moments pass before you see Ophelia entering the room, looking slightly bemused at you.

"You know, training would be much more productive if you had an idea of what you were doing." She quipped, taking her sword out of her scabbard and letting it float beside her. She gave a small smile, but there was a slightly anxious air around her and Siegfried, being a sword, didn't really betray anything. "I saw the sign on your door. It's nice to want to get stronger. After all, what happened in the training room was probably not the best way that could've ended."

"So, uhh, I was thinking, maybe you want to take lessons from me? I mean, if you want. I could probably help not only with fighting but with strategy and other things you're going to need being a hero. How does that sound to you?" She gives a slightly hopeful look after she finishes talking, hoping to get a good reply from you. Well, you did want to get stronger and she certainly does have the experience. But you promised Feijiang you were going to train with her.

The air is cold as you look over the city. How do you feel looking over the city that you were tasked to protect? It certainly does seem pretty, with all the little lights down below. You take a moment to practice your breathing techniques and reacquaint yourself with your powers. Has your time here helped with any understanding with your powers? Who comes to mind to talk about your powers and situation, if anyone?

As you continue to look over the town, you notice a great big fire emerge from the residential district. The security systems haven't released any warnings and you haven't heard anything from Gareth or the Heroes of Harmony. Maybe now's your chance to gather the team and help solve the crisis! Do you feel confient pursuing the scene or do you hesitate and wait for further instruction. Maybe another team will deal with it. Then again, it does look pretty close to your base.

Gareth raises his eyebrow in amusement before laughing slightly. It seems that your words have helped alleviate his mood slightly.

"Oh Will, I haven't been kicked off the council. In fact, it was the council that assigned me to your team. We work closely with the Heroes of Harmony for obvious reasons and they were looking for someone to supervise you guys and I was more than happy to take it up." He ruffles your hair before bringing his arms around you for a quick hug. "I wanted to surprise you with it. I guess it didn't have the intended effect I was going for. Still, I also thought it would help since you're new to Harmonia and I wanted to make sure you got along well with your team. As for Ophelia, uhh, she's just a hero that I just so happen to work closely with. Her and Reissant are friends and I got to know her through that connection. She's one of the first people I got to know in Harmonia, actually." He gives a slight chuckle and smiles at the thought of her. He quickly catches himself, though, and looks slightly sheepish.

"Uhh, in any case, I haven't had a chance to ask you how things were going. I'm not going to lie, you looked pretty scary back in the danger room. Is there anything around that you wanted to talk about? Possibly something I can help with?"

How have his words changed your perception of his situation? While you can tell he doesn't seem to be lying, he doesn't seem to be telling the entire truth either. Do you want to press him on your questions or maybe answer his? Do you feel he can help with the current situation or is this something that needs to be sorted between your team only?
