It's a little known fact that squirrel monkeys and capybaras are ancient allies, if any hapless denizen of the Amazon foolishly threatens either, both animals will ride into battle with grim resolution.

I want to find the biggest cappys and just rassle the heck outta them. Not trying to hurt them, nothing violent, just roughhouse em up a bit like you would any large breed of dog. Try to knock emm down, drag emm around a bit, give them some good solid thwacking pats on the belly.

i like pictures and videos of capybaras but apparently the real things smell terrible and as giant rodents they are doubtless riddled with parasites and disease.

Serious Frolicking posted:i like pictures and videos of capybaras but apparently the real things smell terrible and as giant rodents they are doubtless riddled with parasites and disease. Capybaras have very little smell of their own because their hair is sparse, dries quickly, and they aren't very oily, so their smell is essentially a function of what they swim in and roll around in. Wild capys in Brazil especially near cities have a reputation for smelling bad because of the polluted water they swim in but pet capys and Japanese petting zoo capys do not smell like much because they have clean mud and clean water to wallow in. Not sure about parasites or disease among wild capys but the pet and zoo ones generally seem pretty healthy to me too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8geGngFYzdw

Only good part of the Olympics was that cappys kept wandering out on the golf course. As usual they had very few fucks to give.
