Mexico is pretty neat. Being a lucky and esteemed citizen of San Diego allows me ample opportunity to visit this fine country. Most times have been to Baja. Usually Rosarito or Ensenada. There's lots of good food (fish tacos & lobster especially). Been to Cancun too but its kinda lame and overbuilt. If I want a nice resort I prefer Cabo San Lucas. Tomorrow I am flying out of Tijuana International Airport (HEH) and flying to Zihuatanejo by way of Mexico City. Gonna surf a bit and eat a bunch of tacos and other tasty mexican treats and drink a bunch of "cervesas" as the locals say. I might be going to Sayulita for NYE too. That sounds like a good time, IMHO. Also the exchange rate right now is super good so its cheap as hell. Yall should come to mexico too its pretty awesome! Eat fresh!!

The Mayan riviera is the best part of Mexico. Cancun proper is not good at all and puerto Vallarta is on the pacific side which has not as good beaches and diving but it is a p cool place. Cabo might be good but we haven't done that yet because we can be in Turks and Caicos for the same flight time and that owns. Cozumel / isla mujeres has some good diving so that's okay too but I'd lump that in the Mayan riviera area Basically if u want to go to Mexico, fly to Cancun and then immediately take a right on the highway after the airport

I would like to know if Cabo is worth the trip E: versus a less flight time trip to Turks and Caicos, the ABC islands, Antigua, Barbados, etc. we haven't ever thought Cabo was better because puerto Vallarta was disappointing so... e2: I typed Bonaire earlier but it's part of abc, I meant Barbados let it mellow fucked around with this message at 05:09 on Sep 30, 2016 |

I don't dive so I couldn't tell ya. Its an easy flight from California/Southwest US so there's plenty of the SoCal Surf-Fish-Party crowds. I enjoy it. luv 2 date boys posted:I live in San Diego for a while. I liked it a lot. Never went to Mexico, though. Sorry about your thread. Too bad! I went to Mazatlan with Grellgraxer and some others. It was a good place to visit. Had sex with a real Mexican. She was about 4 feet tall and I gave her my real cell phone number. She kept calling me after I came back to San Diego even though she didn't know any English. There was a party where they filled the whole place full of bubbles. Swedish massage cost 12 dollars. I ate a lot of viagra. Good vacation.

I like the cities in central and southern Mexico. After my first year teaching I bought a bus ticket to the border, walked across and spent a couple months taking local buses around the country from Tijuana to Oaxaca. My favorite places were Mexico City, Guanajuato, Puebla, Guadalajara, and Morelia (though you should probably avoid Morelia now, it was safe when I went but I understand it's gotten a lot worse since then). I was not a fan of Tijuana, Veracruz, or Mazatlan (but if you like beach resorts Mazatlan's not bad, I'm just not into that kind of place).

Spent a lot of time working with Mexicans in kitchens. They are cool asf and doubly so if you know at least some Mexican Spanish. They also generally really really love doing coke which is definitely something I can get behind, but otherwise they make excellent food so it's sort of win-win. viva la raza!!!!
