The teaching English in Asia option only works for people with 4 year degrees, sadly. I'm in a similar situation, OP, only my disabilities aren't visible unless you count using a cane or walking sticks. I'm in a low cost of living state which is probably the only reason my wife and I, both disabled, can get by on our poo poo income. My wife had a professional certification until July, when we couldn't afford to renew it. It's the only thing that might get us somewhere if it's on a list of desirable skills.
