In reality there's a lot of superpowers you could have that you could essentially rule the world with if you were subtle about it and didn't run around in neon tights shrieking about missile launch codes. Shape shifting, invisibility, telepathy, etc.

In America we have no idea that Romani is an ethnic group, I think. Most people think of gypsies as something like a cowboy or something you can be for Halloween that doesn't really exist anymore. A lot of us think of native Americans the same way. People are gradually becoming more aware of this but it's not like Europe where there's this violent hatred of them as a people and all these stereotypes about them. Like when I was a kid basically it meant "someone with a crystal ball and one of those bandanas on". Like I thought for years you could become a gypsy.

Honestly I have no idea how a kid gets into Harley Quinn in 2016 since literally all of it is some combo of terrible and way too adult and you specifically say she didn't like btas Harley. I don't know what else you could be exposed to that wouldn't make you hate the character.
