well they dont have to do them at all, and they already have a zillion commercials packed into the bloated playing time, but even then they could do a pre-recorded interview that they could start and stop when, say, a homerun is hit. or maybe have interviewers who dont just talk over the whole thing and call it a double. many solutions are available.

Well for one thing, I wouldn't be able to tell since TBS' sound levels have been hosed all series. But more importantly at least for me is that American broadcasters never cover Canadian teams well enough, regardless of the sport.
