They were just as homophobic in their youth, and obviously usually quite a bit more.

I figure Kelly gets at least one or two more seasons, depending on how Brian VanGorder's actual long term replacement works out. Hudson seems to a temporary placeholder, so I think Kelly gets the benefit of the doubt in trying to right the defensive side of the ball.
