I really enjoy Pete, ARod and the big hurt. I wish they were calling the game instead of Joe "baseball is boring" Buck.

Smoltz is good.

I can't watch the start of this game because there's a big thunderstorm and DirecTV automatically drops whenever rain gets nasty here.

But Vamos Los Doyers.

So has Urias just recently started using that pick off move or something? He's been pitching for the bulk of the season and I'm fairly in the know of Dodgers sports media thanks to my roommate, but I haven't heard any real controversy over it until that NLDS game where he picked off Harper.

I asked my parents if they were watching the game and my mom texted back "No, we're watching the debate because win or lose, at least Hillary will manage to get some good hits in."

There actually was an interview where someone asked him if he'll coach next year. He gave a laugh and said it was too stressful, and that he wanted to spend some time with his family first. However, I can see him being a decent coach/manager someday in the future. :unsmith:

No, he's always had a good move. Among Dodgers blogs and stuff we were fawning over it all year, it's just that the NLDS is when the rest of baseball noticed and started to :qq: about it

Go Cubs

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the only way the Cubs can win is if they enter the 7th with a lead (or tied, I guess). If they don't, then at the smallest sign of trouble Roberts will put out Jansen and what little offense the Cubs might be able to generate will break upon his mighty cutter.
