Lurker checking in for the first time, I've been following this thread for years. As a wizards fan is there any silver lining this year? Obviously Durant wasnt going to happen, but we are counting on beal to stay healthy for a whole year, our bench is atrocious, and I still cant believe we panic traded a 1st last year for Morris. Oh and Scotty Brooks...

Your weird, mediocre roster can still get to the 7 or 8 seed in the East.

Thinking about getting League Pass for OKC this year, anyone use it and have an opinion on it?

I used single team League Pass for the Pistons last year and had no problems with it. Re-upped again this year.

I find a lot of the people who cover the NBA are interesting and the "meme" content is really funny (like all the KD switching to a Spurs jersey jokes from last night, and the weird anime cartoons everyone liked last year)

Like, I've quietly read these threads for like 2 years now, and they're among my favorites here to read, you all know whats going on and are funny.

I don't know poo poo about the intricacies of basketball, and I'm going to do my best to figure it out, so I won't contribute much, but thanks for helping me get into it.

The goal of every team is to win .
The goal to the process was how to transform the roster that was garbage post Bynum into one with superstar assets ( because super stars win in the NBA). This is what happened. Whether they actually turn into superstars is just regular team building .

The Sixers are a normal team now.

So they obliterated a normal team for four years so that they could once again become a normal team but with slightly more potential. Congratu-loving-lations.

Several of the teams with a worse record than the 76ers that season already had future cornerstones on their teams e.g. Anthony Davis, Boogie, John Wall, Kyrie, Kevin Love. The ones that imo did not are Charlotte, Phoenix and Orlando.

Charlotte are capped out and over-performed last year to finish 6th in the East, the other 2 franchises are terrible...

All three are better than the Sixers are right now.

I mean being a Human Victory Cigar was just the product of being on a team with at least 8 hall of famers on it. I don't think anyone expected him to have a Laettner like career.

What's insane about the Brow is that he was a defensive-minded player in college whose offense was unpolished. In the NBA his offensive game has quickly developed to a ridiculous degree and his defense is subject to debate.
