I have been excited about Joel Embiid since he got drafted all those years ago but somehow just this month realized his name is spelled Embiid and not Embiib. I've been pronouncing it with 2 bs and no one has stopped me.

Y'all, be real with me for a second. I understand that Mason Plumlee 1: is a Plumlee 2: went to Duke 3: I'm a huge homer, but he's not Bad is he? Like obviously he's not an all star, but he's been improving since coming to Portland I think. Lot of assists, improved his FT%, started shooting a little further out from the rim this year. Is he Fine?

Stuff I've seen makes it seem like people think Plumlee/Nurkic isn't much more than a lateral move, especially since Plumlee will be gone in the offseason. The prize being a 3rd draft pick for basically free. The Cavs pick (oddly absent from 2k17) was received for taking/waiving Verajao. Still waiting for Lillard/Boogie trade.
