With the exception of that head shot Soshnikov is having a good first game. Dangerous 4th line.

Well no shutout, but I'm sure averaging 3 goals a period will make up for it.

Of all the bad Dallas teams of the last decade, this one might be the worst. Holy gently caress are they unwatchable. Just stand around and let the other team do whatever they want.

Shinjobi posted:"The Stars have a serious problem with injured forwards!!!!!" our forwards are poo poo too. Including the ones that are injured. Jamie Benn looks like Erik Cole out there. And not prime age Erik Cole. The dude that the Stars had at the end of his career. ** It's a young man's league, and the Stars are the 2nd oldest club in the league. Tons of injuries, players not living up to their billing because they are too slow and not willing to play physical in this league. Nill should take the hint and self-destruct this roster now.

Defense? It's fine. Goaltending? It's good."

I said last year, not this year. "Let's put together a bunch of Top 6 forwards who can probably score 20-30 goals and not do much about defense and goaltending" was able to turn into something which worked for the Stars, but backfired tremendously for Columbus; the CBJ without Bob aren't poo poo, and that was demonstrated with him bad/hurt/hurt again (though Korpisalo emerged as a talent).
