At Mizzou, pregame excitement consisted of a raccoon in the stands. Police tried to catch it in a garbage can but it decided to jump off the ledge to the ground instead. Unsure of its status but will update if I find anything out

Ah, of course I forgot about forward pass and number of players on the field. I guess because I did not know blocking during an onside kick was illegal I was equating it more to a holding or interference penalty. Thank you.

Yeah, it's interesting that it made the list but IMO makes sense. Getting things with onside kicks right is important, and it's not checking whether the block itself was legal per se, just if it happened after the ball went 10 yards or was touched

If the ball wasn't considered recovered in the immediate continuing action (and I feel like I watched a game earlier where players running past the ball on the ground meant it wasn't the immediate continuing action anymore), it would have been a loose ball dead in the end zone so a touchback
