Their secondary went from one of the best in the league overnight to one of the worst. O-line was never as good as people thought (because run blocking was suspect) but has also fallen off a cliff. They've also had very weak time management, probably lead the league in giving up defensive penalties on third down, and have lost at least two games to kicking. They'd likely still be limping along but their schedule is brutal.

Dalton started the year really strong but has regressed due to being ground into paste over and over.

Their defense is actually top ten in yards allowed. There's some talent there; unfortunately, little of it is in the secondary.
