probably the only reason he stuck around was teams wanted him to play TE and now that he said yes of course someone was going to take a chance on putting him on their roster. I hope he's ready with like 3 days of learning blocking and routes

Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand identified Gasser on Thursday as the man who shot McKnight. The shooting happened about 3 p.m. Thursday in Terrytown, a suburb of New Orleans just across the Mississippi River.

"The only thing we know right now, everything else is conjecture, is that Mr. Gasser did in fact shoot Mr. McKnight," Normand said.

They ran the ballistics

Sheriff: Did you run the ballistics?

Ballistics guy: It's coming back right now... Ok... Looks like it's self defense, plus He Was No Angel

People always misuse vanilla as an adjective.

Vanilla is something that tastes good, but has become very common. There's nothing wrong with having it every day, but it's also quite alright to add sprinkles, chocolate fudge, purple lace or other confectioneries to liven it up.

NFL is gonna have 17 full time refs!

Sounds good right?

Well........actually, they aren't promoting 17 current refs. The NFL wants to add 17 new refs and expand ref teams to 8 people. So more penalties, yay!!!!!!!!!!!

what are the new refs supposed to do then? not call penalties?

frankie muniz has that keanu reeves face disease but with a horror movie twist because his face is more like chuckie from "childs play" than Johnny Utah.

also it's interesting to see how much lifestyle crap he's cycled through since he made a fortune. race car driver, drummer, celebrity basketball game player. next is probably parkour or dota

But seriously, how did Branch win his appeal for testing positive for weed? I didn't think there was basically any way you could win those.

quote:

Branch, 31, was told two weeks ago that he had failed a drug test, and according to the Boston Herald, Branch appealed it immediately thereafter because there were traces of marijuana in his system from a previously failed test. Branch already was in the NFL drug program, so he was eligible to be tested as many as 10 times per month per NFL rules. According to the Herald report, there were no new traces of the drug in his system, which led to the NFL’s eventual about face.
