I figured since nooner is heading the '07s 10 year reunion, the class of twenty twelve could get together too. Oh man was it a crazy year. GBS 1.0 was still in effect, but not for long. GBS was so bad still that I was too nervous to post, in fear of getting banned. Oh man. Those were the days. Let's all go out for a beer after this

How to not get banned in gbs 1.0 guide: follow forum rules+communicate in an overwrought style and restate your point (youre always going to make a point) 2 or 3 different ways to make sure even if a mod could read it and disagree with you and gently caress you up, theres no way they'll read all that poo poo anyway. Also stay out of threads they're posting in

The threads for regd smilies that popped up where a deisgn by comittee tried to sort out the best from the worst, the least funny one was frequently chosen, it became really lame to shitpost about regdate elitism, people stopped caring except ironically save for a few dumb motherfuckers. I started reading the forums a lot around 2005 when that one was being made. It was the dumbest process id ever seen and frequently a ridiculous hub of regdate elitism where a 2004 with a better emote idea/submission would hust get regd2004 spammed at him. The people who cared enough to do all this theb spend 30 on so few pixels began to become mocked more than appreciated so rip

Abe was still a mod in '12, with his zany mod challenges. Why don't we do mod challenges anymore? Now the mods are like those fish which swim around the bottom of fishtanks with their mouths stuck the the glass, and just stealth probate posters over and over again with no fanfare or community involvement.
