Welcome to the daily drawings/doodles thread! Our theme for the foreseeable future will be birds! There's just so much to love about birds, there's fluffy ones and there's pretty ones and there's terrifying soulless abominations and they all are descendants of the mighty dinosaurs. So whether you love pretty birds..  tragic birds  birds with tiddies  lil tiny birds  or goofy birds  I encourage you all to find something you love about a bird and do art with it! I felt like drawing an orc, but an orc who's a hipster douchebag. I don't know why, but I think this one turned out amazing. Probably my favourite thing that I've ever done, except that he seems like such a douchebag: And, as an added bonus, here he is in super-ultra-mega-douchebag mode:  For your information, that's the latest scryPhone he's got. You don't have one like that. They're not even on the market yet, he knows a mage who gets stuff before it's released. He seems like he does Crossfit and only eats organic manflesh. His name is probably Tristan or maybe a southern state or something. Dakota?

oh neat i was actually considering if i wanted to post for these somewhere and i just noticed this thread. i've been redoing some traditional life drawing pieces on digital for additional practice and to touch up bad anatomy (not to say the digital pieces are void of those either tho eheu) and that fits the theme for this thread so i'll be posting them here:  tho i kind of lost steam near the end and didn't finish this one

This is something i worked on, on and off, for a couple months actually, just adding bits and pieces here and there. I found this giant picture of a bathing suit lady on the street and added the other stuff. The shiny parts are chrome spray paint. I built the frame myself and covered it in this cool print paper I got from a chinese art supply store. (The below photo is a url that links to a larger version).

I decided to continue my series of fantasy characters being contemporary douchebags. Again, really happy with it. Maybe not as happy as with the orc, but still really happy. She's keeping it so, so real, you don't even know. She's got that band-aid on her cheek, 'cause you know she's got a boyfriend on the inside. Yeah, she came from a rich family, but that doesn't mean she doesn't know what it's like out there on the streets, y'know? You can tell by how she's throwin' up the gang signs. East Side Rangers fo' life!
