His wheeling and dealing in Riverrun showed him to be a pretty shrewd and reasonable negotiator. He's got the looks, the charisma, the temperament, and a surprisingly good head on his shoulders; it's just too bad about the incest, and about everyone hating him for killing a king that everyone hated anyway.
