Try to follow these simple rules to avoid race based hate this holy Ramadan! It's not OK to eat in front of Muslims Most don't get offended if you eat food or drink in front of them. Some do. Understand that fasting is tiring, your Muslim co-workers will be physically unable to work as hard as normal. If possible, allow them to leave work early in order to break their fast or try assigning them work that won't be too physically exhausting. Halitosis Not eating food or drinking water can leave people with really bad breath. This is why most Muslims will stand further away from you during conversation. Please post any other top tips for surviving this 'rama!

There were two Muslims at my old job last year during Ramadan and they seemed perfectly fine and took no time off for it. One of them was really chill and would have fun conversations with me about the differences between Judaism and Islam, since I'm a disgusting Jew.

ramadan is not hard, unless you're working construction or something outside, then I have no idea how those guys do it without some medical issues. muslim majority places slow way down and are sympathetic because everybody is fasting, but if you're in the USA or something and you work manual labor and ramadan is in summer...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Pro-tip: stock up on dates for breaking your fast. Not the cheapo kind from the baking aisle either. Spring for the fancy soft ones that come in a plastic box in the produce section. Aw yeah nice dates you got here
