windows is an idiot enabler, if you are too stupid to figure out a command line interface you shouldn't be allowed to use computers at all imo

obstipator posted:linux is loving garbage poo poo from a dumpster's butt I agree it can be a oval office to setup, but it isn't a garbage fire. like, lol once it took 3 days to get a system running, turned out it couldn't handle a computer with one monitor being plugged into dvi port 2. Guessing you are loving with x.org to get your graphics working? You can try to install drivers through synaptic package manager. Or you have a shithouse wifi adaptor that requires homebrew drivers.

linux is actually very easy and nice & small, and you can make it boot from any computer with it installed on a thumb drive

Permission denied (public key)" you're just doing the keys wrong. that isn't a linuxes fault. sorry! key stuff with ssh can actually be confusing for real though. i had issues earlier this year. i think it was a path thing, but i forget

I can only see someone spending hours trying to make Linux work if they installed some trash tier OS that tries to do dumb and obscure "smart" things like Debian. Arch Linux is really easy to setup and maintain because it does exactly what it says it'll do, it's no mystery.
