In theory, I don't really mind that the postgame is more of a generic version of story mode? But I imagine it all tends to become the same once you own half of PokeJapan.

I can at least respect that they let you carry over links and such from story to story and you're meant to be leveling people up all through the various stories. That's the intent, right?
