I seem to remember regularly 6 thousand people online in the 00's and GBS hitting an easy 1500 during the day, which was way more impressive than it sounds today because back then much fewer people had access to the internet

The 200 thousandth user should be forced to have a sig so long that it kills any thread they post in. Every 1000 new regs will decrease the size by 1% until they're finally able to pass the curse on to user 300,000.
