HAPPY THANKSGIVING, GOONS. Three games on today, starting at noon!  THE DETROIT LIONS, THANKSGIVING'S ORIGINAL TEAM TEAM OF THE CITY WITH THE BEST THANKSGIVING, WITH A PARADE DOWN WOODWARD BEFORE THE GAME CURRENTLY WITH A WINNING RECORD WITH THROWBACK JERSEYS are playing the Minnesota Vikings, the team that the Lions need to catch in the NFC North. Also, the San Diego Chargers are playing the Cowboys in Dallas. The Chargers are getting into the Thanksgiving throwback spirit by branding themselves by their original name, the Los Angeles Chargers! And lastly, the NFL has scheduled a traditional Thanksgiving celebration, as the New York Giants play in Washington, as white people use an ethnic slur against Native Americans!

I stayed at my mom’s assisted living facility last night so that I could take her to my sister’s place for Thanksgiving today. I woke up at 7am to EMT’s ready to take her to the hospital because at 3am she had a temperature of 99. Not the worst thing and I convinced them that she doesn’t need to go, but now Thanksgiving will be spent at her facility as a precautionary measure. I’m going to have to rely on the kitchen’s heating ovens to warm up the food I got from Boston Market. I don’t know if I’ll have the opportunity to watch the Lions play but I’ll check in on this thread when I got free time. Happy Thanksgiving!

I know this much: today, you root for the Lions if you aren't a rotten bastard. Because their Thanksgiving is going to be ruined so you'd hope the least they could do is get a win.  The Cowboys though gently caress them I hope they lose and Jerry Jones' turkey contains a parasite that sends him to the shitter for the next 48 hours.
