Back many years ago on the west bank of the Mississippi in Minneapolis, a young man by the name of David Morton met another young man by the name of Bob Zimmerman. Dave taught Bob to play guitar before Bob even learned to blow an open G on a harp. Dave told Bob "Stop singing those glitzy Harry Belefonte songs. If I can write a song, you can write a song." I've never found a recording of Dave from back in those days, but a fellow by the name of R.
