I listened to generally bad music. I mean, most songs had lines like "drive through, gently caress you" and "drink drink drink, drink some more, drink drink drink, until your on the floor." They were angsty songs and going back and listening to them cause me to become a little embarrased for myself. There is however an exception to that rule, and it is Operation Ivy's Energy EP. I threw it onto a thumb drive today and listened to it headed out to the woods on a trip to go for a run. It's a really suprisingly not lovely album. In fact, unlike everything, it's actually really good.
