I promised I would swear off ever seeing another Star Wars movie if Solo turned out to be bad. Disney got lucky this time because it turned out to be good. I especially loved L3. She was a foxy, independent robot woman who don't need no man. Donald Glover made a better Lando than the original Lando. My only criticism was that this movie would have been even better with less action and more talking. Quentin Tarantino would have been perfect for this.

The only thing that marred the movie was the sequel hook with Darth Maul. A blemish on an otherwise pretty good film.

Darth Maul is Snoke. He gets disfigured by Kenobi in his new upcoming movies a la the emperor fate at the end of the prequels. So Snoke getting split in half in the last movie is a homage to him getting split in half in the first one its poetry apparently poetry means "rehash until franchise fails"

I rented it from blockbuster and it was just so bad. I played it for one day and left it in its case until I dropped it in the slot.

Wait a minute, Darth Maul is in Solo? First of all, he was dead. Ok I guess he got glued back together or turned into a cyborg or something. Doesn't matter. But Han Solo, the guy who didn't believe in all that jedi force bullshit in the first movie, has now actually encountered jedi force bullshit before and witnessed a guy who can flip out and do impossible force things?

I like they killed snoke with no expansion of his backstory but spent 30-40 minutes on the pointless casino planet that didn't even really come with any character development. It was mostly "look at our puppets!!"
