If I told myself 10 years ago that there would be multiple PPVs per year with no John Cena/Randy Orton matches I would have been so excited. I had no idea how much worse the product could be.

OK, Summerslam, I'm going to watch you, but I'm real skeptical about how good you'll be. Here's the worst-case scenario; if this doesn't happen, then it Could've Been Worse: The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) (c) vs. The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) The B-Team squashes The Revival worse and faster than at Raw 25. Rusev and Lana vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega I like everyone involved here but don't really have any preferences whatsoever about what happens. Anything would be fine here. Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz Daniel Bryan heel turn unless it's an exact remake of the Austin heel turn at Wrestlemania. Finn Bálor vs. Baron Corbin I don't give a poo poo about either of these two, so, I dunno, it's a 60 minute match. Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Jeff Hardy Randy Orton does that awful loving thing to Hardy's ear again, jesus christ. Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Drew Gulak See Bálor/Corbin. Carmella (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair Becky is about to win the match, but gets screwed over by either heel-turn Charlotte or a returning James Ellsworth, and she then subsequently falls out of the title picture for the remainder of the year. Dolph Ziggler (c) (with Drew McIntyre) vs. Seth Rollins (with Dean Ambrose) Somebody other than Dolph gets injured. Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens Kevin Owens somehow manages not to end up with the MITB briefcase. The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) (c) vs. The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods) Harper and Rowan win another squash match without adding some kind of new layer or element to their gimmick. AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe It's a repeat of the Styles/Nakamura match from Wrestlemania; it's technically fine but bland and ends within a minute of getting interesting. Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Ronda Rousey Bliss, I don't know, turns out to be a great boxer and KO's Rousey in seconds. Or Bliss brings out one of the other UFC horsewomen, who announces to the crowd that Ronda's never kissed a boy before. Or they have a competitive match and Alexa is portrayed as being on the same level as Ronda without having to resort to cheating. Bliss retains and then does the "maybe I'm a babyface now, wait no I was just being fake sincere, I'm still a heel" promo again. Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns A cash-in happens right when Reigns is about to win, so he gets screwed out of the title, but Lesnar retains this time and pins the guy who cashes in. Lesnar remains champion forever while Reigns is set up to do this same goddamn match again at Survivor Series or even Wrestlemania, loving christ.
