Welcome to the One Day Challenge Gauntlet!! This is a simple, one day, challenge heavy forum reality game (FRG) for 8-12 players. Challenges will consist of flash games, puzzles, trivia contests, etc to determine who is the greatest challenge beast of them all! Rules 1) Every hour for one day there will be a challenge of some kind that will last no longer than 10 minutes. Unless otherwise stated, all challenges are to be completed individually. 2) The winner of that challenge gets to choose to eliminate someone else in the game. Only the winner of the challenge will be announced. 3) If at the end of 10 minutes there is no winner for the challenge, elimination will be determined by simple majority vote. This is to keep the game on schedule in case a challenge is too difficult, but should hopefully not happen. 4) The winner of the game is the last person standing, there is no jury. 5) All players are free to communicate with all other living players during the game. There will be time between challenge and elimination to try to convince the winner to save you. This is both a test of skill and a social game. Most communication will happen via discord and the thread. 6) Just for fun, winner will receive a forums cert of your choice. Schedule for each hour :00 - Challenge starts :10 - Challenge ends and winner declared within 5 minutes :50 - Winner chooses who to eliminate or vote takes place :55 - Hint/Rules for next challenge are posted Timeframe (aka when is this day long thing happening) The game will run from 11:30AM EST/8:30AM PST and for as many hours as there are players, so somewhere between 8-12 hours. The first half hour is for initial socializing and strategizing and the first challenge will begin at noon eastern. This game will hopefully happen on either a Saturday or Sunday in January. If you would like to participate please fill out the interest form on which days you would be available at the above schedule. You can post in the thread declaring your interest if you want, but only people who have filled out the application form will be considered and I'm going to go with the first weekend that at least 8 people can play during.
