Way back in 2013, goon Little Mac (now Cartridgeblowers) had an idea for a thread: the Monday Night Wars, as written by the folks of this very sub-forum. It was a very fun experience, but it died out after a few years (both in-game and in real life). I’m looking to recapture some of the magic here, with a new LP in which YOU decide the fate of World Wrestling Entertainment at about the same time I got into wrestling, 2004. Way back when, the brand split was an actual thing, with actual General Managers for the respective shows – Paul Heyman for SmackDown!, and Eric Bischoff for Raw. Cast your mind back to the January of 2004. According to the mod, here are the top storylines: RAW Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels Randy Orton vs. Mick Foley Ric Flair & Batista vs. the Dudley Boyz Chris Jericho vs. Christian SMACKDOWN! Brock Lesnar vs. Hardcore Holly Eddie Guerrero vs. Chavo Guerrero, Jr. INTER-BRAND Kane vs. the Undertaker The concept of this thread is simple: pick a side, and try to book the best show you can. There will be competitions to determine match placement at big-4 PPV events and sign new wrestlers, among other opportunities. Both brands will be given a secret document in which to write their stories, but seeing as how it’s all the same company I’m not making a Discord for this (also because I don’t know how). Actual booking for the shows will begin in a few weeks' time so: 1) More people have a chance to sign up 2) Programs can be determined 3) Most importantly... Who will win the Royal Rumble? The first major point in our thread is determining a Royal Rumble winner. We know who won the 2004 Royal Rumble in real life, but you can choose anyone you want! With that being said, choose wisely, as WWE rules dictate that the winner can choose EITHER title, and I (being the Vince McMahon role) have final say of inter-brand matters. Choose you challenger for WrestleMania XX in the Google Sheet provided to your brand, and Godspeed.

I would like to be on Team Smackdown to ensure Tajiri is pushed with appropriate vigor. Also want to say I have close to no reference point for 2004 WWE, the only 2004 wrestling I've seen is NOAH and ROH so I'm sure this'll really help.
