i just finished watching wrestle princess II, it was my first full tjpw show after wanting to check it out for a while. what a great show and a great introduction to the promotion! i really liked it and ill keep my wrestle universe subscription after the trial for sure. having english commentary that was actually like, aware of and explained the story and history of everything was really great and accessible to new fans and i'm definitely one now. also holy poo poo uhhhh miyu yamashita fuckin rules and she's so cool and awesome and my new favorite???

This was pretty much my experience exactly except I already new Miyu was the coolest person to ever exist and this show just reconfirmed that. god she's so cool

One of the nicest things about Wrestle Princess, which is one of the nicest things about really good wrestling in general, is that you don't just come out of it having enjoyed the show. You come out of it liking wrestling itself a bit more than you did before. It elevates the medium.
