Hello friends, I just now realized WK is still two nights but Night Two is on the 21st? That seems strange! Also I'm thinking the fact that Shota is a teammate for Muto's last NJPW is a pretty big endorsement? Also this match will feature people contracted with NJPW, AEW, NOAH, and WWE. I know the latter is just a clearly phoning it in Machine Gun, but I still think that's pretty cool

I know it's called WK but Jan 4th is the one that matters, it's the traditional NJ Dome show date And Don Callis is also there, so Impact has some representation too! And yeah, I think the placement of the two graduated Young Lions on 4/1 is significant. Shota has the big shot, Mutoh's last NJPW match, tagging with Tanahashi who he is being positioned as the successor to. Meanwhile Ren is lower on the card but in a match which could easily be a standout on the show, he's the workhorse, not necessarily fancy but you know you'll get good poo poo. Like Shibata. God, Tana, Shibata & Wataru Inoue was some Young Lion class.
