HARASHIMA Produce Match ~ Blindfold Breastfold Tag Death Match: HARASHIMA & Kazuki Hirata Vs Antonio Honda & Shunma Katsumata 4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: Yuki Ueno Vs Joey Janela 5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – B Block: MAO Vs Yukio Naya My Previews: Ueno vs Janela: A huge styles clash here. Will it be interesting? Ueno is always good and a very clean wrestler. Joey not so much, but at least it feels like he's trying even though he's not the best fit in DDT. Predicted result: Ueno. Predicted score: sub-HM Endo vs Sasaki: Booking two sloppy hardcore guy vs very clean very good wrestler matches on the same show was a weird decision. Endo might make this a good one but Sasaki is dull to me (not to others though!). Predicted result: Sasaki. Predicted score: sub-HM Hino vs KANON: immovable object vs unstoppable force? Gooch vs KANON was great. Hino is great. If they really play up KANON as the guy who just can't be put down this might be brutal. Predicted result: KANON. Predicted score: HM MAO vs Naya: Mao is one of DDT's most interesting and messy wrestlers and Naya has trouble having a compelling gimmick beyond having bad hair and being tall. The layout to last show's Mao match earned it an MOTYC from me and people really loved the Naya match against Hino but it was against Hino. Predicted result: Naya. Defnitely feel like MAO can drag Naya to a good match, and the last singles match I remember Sasaki and Endo having was fantastic (this was nearly two years ago though and Sasaki was working face). Reckon Hino/KANON will be my match of the day
