The point is the Patriots offense sucked because of the person in charge not because of lovely free agent acquisitions that blew up. I would attribute at least a two game swing to just Patricia alone.

lovely free agent signings impact your ability to allocate those cap dollars more wisely. You don't think a better spending of the $30m in cap given to Agholor, Smith, Bourne would have had an impact in the win column? What is the point of free agency if not to try to win more games?

if you think about it the nflpa was trying to sabotage the little underdog bengals just before free agency. They first tried to do it by releasing the franchise grades but no one cared too much so they had to pull out the big guns. Well we're a family and it's going to take more than that. you're going to have to throw us off the entire State Building!
