The Goddamn G1 is upon us! Hopefully I'll get to see some this year! and maybe even this weekend! or even today! I would make one of these tables of data and such but I don't understand G1 math at all (or how to make tables!). I also don't ever understand G1 booking, I think every year since 2013 that I've tried to map one of these things out they never remotely go like I imagine. Often they do it much better, Ibushi vs Tana 2018 remains my match of the century and I didn't see that one coming. Jerusalem posted:
i've got the same finalists as you, but I think things will shake out a bit differently in the semi's. I think Naito's going to beat Sanada, and then he's also going to beat Ospreay, Okada goes over Naito in the final. Naito having beaten Sanada though gets a shot at him before the dome and wins the belt back, leading to Okada vs Naito at WK for probably the last time. Think they're going to play it safe this year.
