Obviously some miserable booking that can't just be waved off (the semis were 75% house of torture matches and the other one hypothetically had finlay in it so 4 heels) I'd say njpw would see this as a pretty positive tournament. Moderate increase on business from last year. They would be mostly disappointed in the aichi gate but I'd put a lot of that on the above miserable booking as it was a semi final. Ryogoku last year showed the home fans are tolerant of this but aren't itching to buy tickets to hot in major matches. Trust your midcard and njpw can probably sail through this period of uncertainty.

got worked hard by dangling the possibility of Goto winning the cup. Now that's pro wrestling. That's the closest he's gotten to the world title in many years Goto said something along the lines of "if I win the cup, that means joining CHAOS was the right choice" (please break up CHAOS lol)
