Just heard it on Larry King Live

looks like the war is starting

I'm cleaning up the original post so it's actually readable. Here's a list of events that have happened since the war start.

Map of all of this

[LIST=1][*]Ari Fleischer tells people that President Bush is coming on TV at 10:15PM. He said "the disarmament of Iraq" had begun (some news reporters screwed it up and said "liberation" though that's NOT what he said).

[*]CNN reported that the U.S. launched Cruise Missiles at Baghdad. They hit a "leadership target of opportunity."

[*]Bush states that the military is attacking Iraq. People believe that the U.S. is going to war

[*]The cruise missile strike targetted a bunker that Saddam or some other Iraqi leadership was hiding out in

[*]CNN reported that this isn't the start of the war. The CIA just wanted to take out the enemy leader.

[*]CNN claims the War with Iraq has begun.

[*]More AA fire is heard over Baghdad. France is also now allowing the U.S. to fly over France and drop bombs in Iraq.

[*]Fox News now says that the U.S. has launched Tomahawk missiles against Iraq and double-digit amounts of cruise missiles.

[*]Fox News says that top officials saw Saddam in the bunker that was struck. People think he may be dead.

[*]"Shock and Awe" campaign hasn't begun. It probably won't until tomorrow night. A press conference is going to be held at 9:45AM tomorrow (no cameras allowed).

[*]CNN is showing :krad: footage of 40+ cruise missiles being launched in that "targetted attack against Iraqi leadership"

[*]Saddam is reported to still be alive and hiding out in Iraq.

[*]Saddam is going to give a live speech to the people of Iraq. Jets are launching off the U.S.S. Lincoln.

[*]Air raid sirens are going off again. More missiles are going to hit Baghdad very soon. And Saddamn is going to make his speech soon.

[*]Operation: Southern Watch is over. The U.S. is now starting Operation: Iraqi Freedom.

[*]Saddam gave his speech to the world. All I have to say is that it was the FUNNIEST loving 10 MINUTES OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. "God is great, god is great, god is great! Draw your sword! The losers will lose! God is great, god is great, god is great."

[*]Troops in Nothern Kuwait are being told to put on their gas masks.

[*]Doctor Sanjay Gupta (CNN Reporter) says that he heard an explosion at his camp in Kuwait. He was talking on the phone with a CNN reporter and said "Dammit I can't tell you" and hung up.

[*]The Kuwaiti's say that the explosion was two missiles, fired from somewhere in Iraq, that landed in the desert.

[*]Sirens are going off in Kuwait because of a possible chemical attack.

[*]2 3-tonne Iraq missles fired by Iraq hit North Kuwait. Patriot missles intercepted SCUDS outside of Camp Commando - they didn't contain Chemical Munitions

[*]More missiles going to Kuwait City

[*]Defectors in Northern Iraq

[*]Pentagon reports that a small plane crashed near some marines and it may be a chemical / biological attack

[*]Hahahaha the Iraqis claim they aren't launching the SCUDS :rolleyes:.

[*]Cruise missile attack in Baghdad, another surgical strike on key targets. Ground troops on the offensive, have taken southern sea port Umm Qasr, moving north toward Basra. Marines moving on toward various locations including oil fields. Aircraft taken off from carrier ships. Air raid sirens sounding in Baghdad and Kuwait City. UK commandos advancing north after making amphibious raid on a south eastern peninsular. Still not Shock & Awe yet. - Thanks Spiff!
