EntranceJew's Beautiful Guide for Audaciter & Handsome People Do you wanna do captions in audacity? Really easily? Okay! Thanks to the Audaciter we can do that! To begin, we're going to need audacity loaded up with some audio. Select some audio in our first track. Now hit <Ctrl+b> to make a label that spans the duration of our selection. We can type text here for our subtitle. The label track will appear wherever so drag it up to be in line with the appropriate audio track. We have to do this for all of our commentary tracks. Now that we have labeled all the audio, we can export the label tracks through File -> Export Labels Now we can upload them and convert them to .srt files with the Audaciter! Now we just save the output file: Open it up: Bam! Perfectly timed (compressed) subtitles! EntranceJew fucked around with this message at 18:17 on Dec 9, 2013 |
