Okay lets try this again. Agni Once a young man seemed to have it all. Looks, youth, vigor, strength. He was arrogant, prideful, and not the best of people. He took what he had for advantage and did not earn what was his. The boy was on the wrong path. Until the day that he was burned. Travelling the lands, taking advantage of his natural gifts, the young man came across a twisted and bent old man. He was cruel, he was arrogant, and he got into a fight. Thinking that his great strength and good looks would see him to victory no matter the situation the man got in to a fight he could not win. For the old man was a powerful spellcaster. The fight was short. Terrible magics were unleashed and finally the arrogant boy was engulfed by a fireball. The fires burned. His skin reddened, burned and blackened, the fat beneath melting and catching fire. That should have been the end. The terrible fires should have burned the boy to death. But he survived. Something in his background, or perhaps something intended by the spellcaster, interacted with the flames. The boy was hurt he crawled away, his looks ruined, his strength gone. He found that others looked upon him with disgust, or just trying to turn away to avoid looking upon him. He was crushed. And then one day as he was starving and dying of thirst a shadow stopped over him. A figure stood over him, a kind figure, this figure saw his plight and gave him food and water. But more than that this person gave him a new chance on life. As the boy recovered he dwelled upon the stranger's kindness. He looked back on the life he had led, and was disappointed. He decided to turn over a new leaf, to try and become a better person. And as he recovered he found his burned flesh was somehow more resistant to heat and fire than before, something that should not have been the case. And he began to find that he could emit fire. It took some training but he began to gain control over it. He decided he would go out and become a hero, making use of his new abilities to help those who could not help themselves. Years later he had gained greater control of his abilities an had begun to do good in the world when by chance he was passing through a small village when it was attacked by a terrible invasion.
