Part 29: The Reluctant Heir (Part 2) The Keroro Platoon escorts Sannojou through a wetland full of dead bodies (probably) on their way to the Mountain Shrine. --- Extras The Haunted Marsh, with its broken war banners and foggy mire, is probably a reference to the Battle of Sekigahara. You can read about it here, or watch the excellent Extra History episode about it here. Long ago, at the end of Part 26, Mois gave us her flip phone/planet-destroying weapon, the Lucifer Spear. When calling Mois as a Support in battle, she appears in her true Angol form, and clobbers the enemies with a non-world-ending fraction of her power. Namco released this game to arcades on 1986, and it got ported to multiple systems later on. Kagekiyo, the main character, appears as a Support in Keroro RPG. I forgot to record actually obtaining it, but it's in a treasure chest in the Haunted Marsh, appropriately enough. When called, Kagekiyo uses Whirlwind Blade to spin his sword repeatedly through whatever's in his way. Here's a link to a longplay of the arcade version of Genpei Toumaden. I also found an English-subbed promotional video ripped from VHS. It's... interesting. Give it a look.
