this is my cat: she has resting judgmental face:  some cats are mousers, this one's a bugger:  she gets two plates of wet soupy food every day:  being a cat is hard work:  yes i petted that stomach e: on a side note i had to throw that scratching bed lounge out because she puked in it and it seems like target no longer stocks them, sad because she really likes lounging in it  the one they replaced it with is like half or 2/3 the size and she can't sprawl out on it, only curl

I dunno, I just remember browsing around looking up stuff when I first heard that, and seeing confirmation that it was rare but not seeing any specific numbers. I don't know enough about the subject to say if it's just that percentage or if there's other stuff going on

female orange cats are relatively rare but the real rare cat is the male calico since that can only happen if they're XXY

I think if the cat is totally orange it's a 1:8 female:male ratio. But it's 1:1 for cats that are like 90% orange coat and you usually just think of those as orange anyway.

visiting my parents which means cat photos of squeaky when i can get them. she was a feral kitten and as such is super skittish. if i sit super still and extend a hand she'll come sniff it, but any sort of small movement she'l take off   they also have a new small yappy dog that zooms around the house at a million miles an hour and if i can get a non-blurry photo i'll share.
