Che storia figata, ragazzo!

Another of my favorite local bands, melodic punk with great lyrics. They're called Adaptados

Here are some of their official videos

This is a silly song, cover of a Peruvian band but the video is great

And my favorite song from their latest album

Here's a spectacular hardcore band that I wish I had known about when I was living in the Detroit area:

The Armed.

Shows how little attention I actually pay to local scenes when bands aren't popping up to play with touring acts.

For somebody on the official street team, you'd think you'd have the right youtube channel.

My favorite Nashville band is Yautja. They are good at making me like them.

Eff. Fixed.

I listened to Yautja. Not really my style. I know your shocked based on what I posted. I don't really know any heavy metal bands. If anyone likes pop-hardcore (The Used-ish), check out We Are The Finale on Spotify.

That's not right!
Connecticut is pretty much a cultural wasteland, but there is a band from the relative area that I like called The Guru. They just play sort of fun poppy rock with a psychedelic vibe, and their singer sounds a bit like Isaac Brock. I'm just now listening to their newest album for the first time and it reminds me of Polaris, the band that did the music for The Adventure of Pete and Pete and whose singer is also from CT, coincidentally.

The title track from Go Easy is my favorite song of theirs, but it's all easy summer listenin'.

A friend of mine tried to get me into The Guru after she saw them when she was at Mt. Holyoke. Gotta look up what the one song was.

So this hip hop crew started releasing stuff that is way better than the utter poo poo that has come out from the hip hop scene in the past

There's like twenty rappers in the crew and some are mediocre at best but I was surprised by some of them being pretty good, like this dude
