That was a really nice ending. I'll definitely follow the manga to see where the story goes. This series has been a really pleasant show to watch. Maybe after enough material is out we'll get a second season.

I may have glossed over it, but I don't think the manga even shows him having a diary at all. As far as I can tell, the anime used it only to create a common trait between the two.
