I've been working full time and going to school this past year, and at the time of this post, I'm going to be getting married in a little more than a month. When school was in full swing, because it was a summer class, it was condensed and I had less time to focus on writing the way I wanted. My commitment for this blog in the future: not to report something that is interesting to make it important, but to report something that is important and make it interesting.

As a one man operation, this blog depends 99% on me. Well, it took some major life changes to get my motivation and time to zero. I won’t bore you with the details but this last month has been difficult and although the blog has some great contributors, it suffered. You have probably heard how hard it is to build and maintain a successful blog (which I’m still trying to do!) but once life gets on the way, it’s close to impossible. Things are not really better but it’s time to get back to work. Today is the day this blog comes back to life and I’m going to tell you how (and ask for your help)

I’m afraid I’ll have to reduce the frequency of reviews and whatnot here, as I’m about to start a significantly more demanding day-job, and will barely have any time to play games, let alone blog. I’ll still be trying to post brief updates on Twitter, but it seems unlikely I’ll be able to maintain my current (theoretically) weekly schedule of reviews. We’ll see.

It’s been a while since we last talked. Yes, I know, this place looks close to dead right now… Well, I’m here to reassure you. This last month has been tough for this blog but things are going to get better. this blog is not dead and it’s best days are still ahead. Prepare to see more content, better content and more commitment from yours truly. But my optimism aside, I want you to know what’s going on around here. You are the foundation of this blog and you deserve to know why the site has slowed almost to a halt.

I’m just starting my two-week retreat in Malaysia and this is the perfect time to get things back on track. As I said before, expect to see more and better content. By that I mean two articles per week and deeper content (like interviews, guides and so on). I also plan to have a backup plan in case I face another crisis. By the way, if you ever want to be part of the team and contribute, you can get in touch with me and see what we can do. And last but not least, this site needs you to succeed. Crisis or not, the foundation of this blog is you. I’m not asking for your money or to write for the blog, just a little of your time and be part of the conversation on the comments section but also on Twitter and Facebook.
