I don't know about hate, but I equate the spork to child hood cafeteria food. The little white platic spork and a napkin inside a little clear plastic bag. Anyone else remeber this.

They still exist, in the bags with the napkin, or unbagged with a napkin wrapped around. You get them sometimes with takeaway food. Or you can buy them in supermarkets where the other disposable cutlery and stuff is.
